Biting

My lo is 5 months old. Everytime I try to feed him he bites down extremely hard. He has two teeth and it has actually made me cry its so painful. I cry out and pull him off and he looks startled for a minute but does it again as soon as I try to feed him again. He won't take bottles from me and I am th only one home with him during the day so I'm not sure what to do. Please help!

I know it's hard but try not to cry out.  Remember he doesn't get that you are making a hurt sound.  Many babies will bite to get mama to make that funny noise again!  Try not to react at all aside from a calm - no biting that hurts mama.

For my DS this was a short phase-- so your DS will probably be over it soon! like PP said, try not to react even though it's excruciating-- DS always thought it was hilarious when i screamed. :P
