So last night we went to bed at midnight and then between 2am and 5:30 am, Ava was awake screaming 6 times!!! Of course my H slept right through each time so I had to get up.

Basically I just had to lie her down again, give her the pacifier or cover her with the blanket, and then she went back to sleep.

Of course each time I finally fall back to sleep, I wake up to her screaming again. And then after the last time she was up, one of my dogs woke me up so I could lift him into the bed. Ergh!!!

This has been happening at least twice a week for the last 3 weeks or so. I am exhausted!

Is anyone else going through this? I have no idea what is causing this sleep regression as she normally sleeps through the night with no problems.

Poor kid and mom! Is she teething? Thats what is causing sleep disturbance in our house currently.

It's quite possible. She's only missing 4 teeth that I can see and she's had her finger in her mouth a lot lately. Maybe I'll give her some Tylenol before bed tonight and see if that helps.

Thanks, but at least we can rule out the ears. We had her at the dr a couple days ago and she said her ears were fine. That's always something we worry about too since both my H and I are prone to ear infections.

We had a rough patch a couple weeks ago, then Cooper busted out several new words. Maybe she's on the verge of a breakthrough! Good luck, hope you all get back to sleeping soon.
