Update to stork watch 2014

So, we had our meeting with the e-mom this evening after work.

She also brought her mom with her. We really liked both of them a lot. They are very outgoing and friendly, and had a lot of good questions, as well as shared about themselves. I had forgotten that E-mom is also adopted, so we talked with her mom about that a bit. She has also been back to the MFM specialist, who says that the mass in the baby's chest has shrunken, which is awesome. He says he'd be surprised if the baby still needs surgery!

E-mom also asked if we'd like to be involved in the birth, etc. I said I would love to be there for the delivery, and DH would like to be at least at the hospital, but probably not in the room, because he's a bit squeamish. Maybe he'd just sit in the corner, lol.

Anyway, the meeting was really great. She wants to make a decision soon, because she wants to get details ironed out, invite the prospective adoptive parents to drs appointments, etc. We also exchanged phone numbers in case we had any other questions or anything.

I hope to hear from our SW sooner rather than later, and I will of course update y'all when we know something.
