Where to start...TTC after PID...?

Hello ladies...I am a little unsure on what to do.  My husband and I want to start TTC but recently I remembered I had a bad case of PID about 4 years ago, I was treated with ABX but am worried I can hear it can cause scarring on the fallopian tubes, infertility problems and ectopic pregnancy.  Should I make an appointment to talk to the doctor or just call ask for a referral somewhere? I have my annual scheduled in March (they won't make it sooner).  What kind of appointment should I ask for and is there ways the doctor can tell or will he tell him to TTC for a few month first?  I'm just very worried about having an ectopic pregnancy. : (

I would see what your OB says but TTC as usual for 6ish months. If you don't have success, see an RE (don't let an OB treat you for fertility problems.)
