Hi ladies!

Happy New Year ladies!!  Now that the holiday madness is over and I know what day of the week it is again, I'll go back to posting every Wednesday.

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. Occasionally, I do a bit of clean up. If you have dropped off and would like to be added again, just comments and you'll be back in business

TTC again, even after successfully bringing home a LO (or multiple LOs) is a stressful process for all of us, and this group is meant to allow us the opportunity to provide support and suggestions to one another, and to receive the same in return.

A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group.  Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC. 

QOTW:  What has been your favorite age of your child/children so far?  Do you love the squishy newborn stage or the independent toddler or something else?

AKB090609- I had an us yesterday to check for cysts since I'm on cd48. The tech saw 'something', but of course couldn't tell me what. Waiting is hard. 

Byrne15 - TTC #3, no treatments this time. Just hoping for success the old fashioned way

Ducky719 – 1/8 - I am waiting for AF to start my second PP cycle and she is "late".  I realize she isn't late...just irregular and will probably show at the worst possible moment.  So I guess that means after this cycle, and the next, DH and I will officially be trying on our own.  Oh boy!! 

Cbubbles2 - currently TTC on own, FET in 2014

chiwifey -  1/8 - Just dropped off my medical records for my 2nd opinion consult on Mon. I am nervous and excited. I really hope this new RE can shed some light on our situation and help us add to our family. C will make an excellent big brother some day, I'm sure of it.

Mayzie15 - 1/8 - Still need to set up appt with my RE for my AFC hopefully will do this soon.  

PappsMcGee - planning to go back to seek treatments when ready (FX for a surprise for you in the mean time!)

BabyKsMommy  - 1/8 - My clomid cycle in November was a BFN. I did a menopur cycle in December but was cancelled as my follicles didn't grow bigger than 12 mm (or cm? I forget). I'm going to do one more menopur as they have finally agreed to let me up the dosage. We are also looking into an IVF loan as we are OOP and it's not looking like IUIs are working this time around. 

Bellalou - 1/8 - AF due on 12th and I call in to start meds for FET this month

CAL416 - pending SA, b/w and SHG prior to IUI w/Clomid

ccam -  1/8 - Started my Lupron period and had my baseline on Monday - everything looks good to go.  My transfer is set for 1/30!.

Dizzykates - Trying the old fashioned way planned IUI in June

Efhoping2010 - 1/8 - I have decided to make the call to clinic 1 on Monday for a CD 3 bloodwork order.  Maybe if DH sees a major change in numbers we can plan our next cycle sooner rather than later.

Emwaiting - TTC #2, I have never checked in before.  We had to do IVF for #1 and we were lucky to have IVF work on the first try.  DS is almost 3 months and I am currently on day 4 of Provera.  I will start Clomid and Femara after AF arrives, monitor follicles and then do timed intercourse and see what happens.  Drs think our best chance for #2 is to try ASAP and we are sooo lucky DS is such a good baby!!!

fullfhope - 1/8 - I'm just waiting for AF to start IVF cycle. Should be next week, but this will only be 2nd PP so not sure how that will work out.

Hadams85 - 5 days into my 2WW. Had my first IUI last Thursday. Trying to wait oh so patiently for next week to test. No signs or symptoms yet, almost like nothing has happened.

Hopeful1981 - TTC #2, currently on CD34 waiting for AF to start so that I can embark on my IVF cycle.  I have endo and have been on Lupron since CD23.  Will be stimming with Follistim and Menopur. 

Kaf7 -  1/8 - I am ramping up my Estrace at the moment and continuing on my suprefact and ASA. Antibiotics are done. I fly back across the country on Sunday for an ultrasound Monday and if things look good then the transfer will be Wednesday. My flight back is currently booked for Friday so hopefully things don't get delayed.

Kingme - Hoping for FET in July/Aug/Sept ((Huge hugs))

LeoLauren -  I've been peeing on sticks like crazy and they are all BFP!! Beta is on Friday. I don't know what I was thinking. These kids will be 17 months apart!! Omg!

mdiblasi10 -  1/8 - I am waiting for AF to start IUI #4, and I am expecting her mid next week. I am excited to do acupuncture again with this round. However, I am terrified because this is our last chance with an IUI. We could probably choose to do more than four if we wanted, but with the way I have been responding, I don't think it's the right choice..

Mnerani - 12/27 - My IUI was canceled for no response. On CD17, my follies were the same as CD15 (15mm), so my RE canceled the cycle. And then just 2 days later, I got AF. WTF?! Very disappointing. 

nycbride0707 - I go in Sat for one last check, and then hopefully everything looks good and transfer in Sunday, with beta 11/19. Been doing PIO since Tues, man I'm sore!

PennyLane26 - Scheduled bw for Sunday so that they can prescribe something to kickstart AF. Hopefully will be scheduling pre-cycle testing this time next week!

readyornot24 - 12/27 - My ivf was a bust, got the dreaded BFN call yesterday. I will be on hold for now until my wtf appointment and then go from there.

Rjade9 - I'd like to be added!  We have our appointment with our RE next Thursday to come up with a plan for our FET.  In the meantime we are not, not trying

kzawisl -  1/8 - No update. Still saving our pennies and hoping for Menopur donations from OOP meds or my RE.

MoFree - 12/27 - We won't try again until March or April 2014. I am still undecided whether to use my two remaining frosties or undergo a fresh cycle.

Robeano - 12/27 - after some soul searching, I'm gonna take a break from trying until I get down to pre-pregnancy weight. I gained a bunch of weight in the last two months and I don't want to start off being pregnant this heavy.

RoseHQ12 - 24 weeks & so happy to be at this point. GTT today & looks like I passed phew! SCH still lingers, it's my other "baby" at this point!

Imoverit – 1/8 - 26 weeks this Fri., Negative ffn test last week, and should find out my 1hr GT results this week. Mon I have another ffn so FX its neg. again. 

Wiscgirl95  - IVF cycle successful! beta #1 is 66

Mr.& Mrs. Woodtick - 12/27 - Our follow up ultrasound looked good. Baby is still a boy, and our AS is scheduled for Tuesday (12/31/13).

TJ1979 - 16 weeks today. Feeling better most of the time. My back is hurting REALLY badly, but other than that sometimes I forget I'm pregnant. Loving feeling deuce wiggling around in there!!

Cwhitaker27 - 12/27 - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. We told our families on Sunday at "our Thanksgiving".  I just told the doctors I work with today since I was off mon/tues sick and throwing up all day. They were/are very supportive so that's great!  We are telling the rest of our family and friends via our Christmas card next week. Overall still feeling very sick but happy to let the cat outta the bag mostly.

Eve_Angelique -  1/8 - Really feeling pregnant now m/s has come on and I am having lots of food aversions/smell aversions! (Which is new to me because I had neither with #1). 

Kdfecarie - 1/8 - So we are still pregnant for now... Did lose one little baby but still have one hanging in there! Hopefully for the long haul! 

carrera317 - 1/8 - 3 betas, bleeding, and 1 US down. Next up another US on the 21st. Still in disbelief, but nevertheless thankful.

Kissies - 1/8 - I got ruled out for ectopic. Still waiting to hear back about uti they wanted to send culture, so it'll be a few days. Progesterone getting checked this am. my bleeding is less but seems to change everyday but has stay very scant amt. So far we have one little baby due august 29th. with hb of 120. Re is getting ready to discharge me to ob. Next ultrasound will be 23rd. Dr. says still at risk for miscarriage because of bleeding

QOTW:  The newborn stage was not my favorite!  I was a stressed, tired, BFing nightmare, first time Mom.  Maybe I would enjoy it more with #2, but it was not my cup of tea the first time around!  My favorite stage is probably right now at almost 17 months.  He can communicate with us, either through his words or sign language, and he is so independent.  I love watching him learn new things, he amazes me every day.

ETA:  Re-reading that, I made it sound like I hated the newborn stage, but that's not the case.  I loved parts of every stage, but newborn was not my favorite.  I would hope the 2nd time around, I would be less anxious about it all.

QOTW: Hard to say really!! I did love from like 6-9 mo a lot, he was sitting up and starting to be a little more okay just hanging out and was just so smiley and snuggly. But also right now at almost 19 mo its so fun to hear him talking and exploring, he learns a new word pretty much everyday which is so amazing to me.

QOTW: I can't decide. They are super fun right now (almost 19 months) and are learning new words every day. Starting imaginative play, which is so cute. Noah will take his toy spoons and a bucket, "mix", and offer you a taste.

QOTW: This is tough because I have said "This is the best" at every stage. But I guess right now would be the best because as a toddler everyday is something new. I absolutely love it. I love getting hugs and kisses and seeing just how smart they are as toddlers.

QOTW. I completely agree with ccam about the newborn stage. I also had PPD/PPA so Im sure that didnt help. I loved 7 months on. Although 2 is challenging he amazes me everyday. Love my kid.

Hi Ladies I've been a bit AWOL from posting but I've been following everyone's posts through the week. Hugs to those that need them. I am ramping up my Estrace at the moment and continuing on my suprefact and ASA. Antibiotics are done. I fly back across the country on Sunday for an ultrasound Monday and if things look good then the transfer will be Wednesday. My flight back is currently booked for Friday so hopefully things don't get delayed. I am full of mixed emotions about it all including not feeling ready to be PG again and wanting to enjoy my current LO as things are right now and not have any major life changes for a bit. But then I feel guilty about feeling that way. And I'm worried my thought process will affect the outcome of our one and only chance for another bio child. And I am feeling sad about leaving LO for 6 days. I'm trying to not even think about there being a 2ww and am hoping I just get to the actual transfer without any hiccups or cancellations. I talked to DH tonight though and if it's a bfn we are going to plan our first ever family vacation/our honeymoon since we never did one. I guess I had a lot to say this week. Crazy hormones.....

Oops I always forget the QOTw!!!! I love bedtime cuddles ever since we sleep trained at 4.5 months. There are good points about every age so far, but that's the one thing I have and continue to cherish and look forward to each day.

QOTD: hmmmm. My baby will be 4 in March. The time has truly flown. He is so amazing and still manages to make my heart skip a beat in a daily basis. I loved the infant stage just because of the dependence and being able to fix anything by nursing. I am so grateful for something of mine that works- boobs (even if they are huge). The imagination though that he now has is inspiring. Every stage of being a mom has been awesome.

QOTW: I loved the newborn smush. Loved snuggling her. But now, she is 11 months and crawling all over the place and beginning to "get" some of what we say and imitate our speech and actions and it is just incredibly fun. Sorry wishy washy answer I love it all!

QOTW: My favorite age is 6-9 months so far! G can sit up and is very playful and interactive but she isn't crawling/walking yet so very low maintenance. I do miss the VERY newborn stage (first 2-3 weeks) though- G won't sleep in my arms anymore and I miss the NB cuddles!

QOTW: My favorite age is newborn- 3 months, when you can carry the baby or babies around in a front carrier, they need you for everything.  They are just so cute and helpless yet starting to explore a little and smile and interact.  I loved putting some toys on a blanket and playing with them.
