Hello ladies!
We haven't had our mid week check in in a while because of the holidays - so lets get going once again!

How is everyone? What's going on with you? (Your updates can be everything and or anything and does not have to be cycle related).

I've been very busy with work - it's audit season - ugh! Also, I'm still working placing the animals in homes but we have found a new location and are working on raising funds to buy the new location - it's a lot of work but soooo worth it.

Rachel- Your compassion and hard work for the animals is incredible. You have a big heart, I give you tons of credit for all that you do!

AFM- I got the negative beta call yesterday - never gets easier. I was at work (I'm a preschool teacher) and thought I'd be "okay" because I knew it was coming. It was still really hard. I struggled to put on a happy face and go about my routine with the kids. I ended up taking a personal day today to recharge and get myself back on track. To add to the fun, one of our pipes burst last night due to the weather. Luckily no flooding, but we have no hot water. What I would give for a tropical vacation right about now...

Rachel - thank you, thank you so much for all you do for all of the animals. My husband is in finance and we both hate this time of year.... Guess I'll see him in April!

Geordie- hoping you're feeling better!
I know what you mean, I'm always like is this really happening...again?!

MrsC- that call never gets easier, no matter how prepared you are or how many times you've been through it.
I'm unbelievably sorry. I hope you get some rest and are extra good to yourself on your day off. I'm glad you took some time for yourself.

Our wtf was reassuring. Our RE is convinced it was the embryos, or more specifically our last egg donor. As much as I hate to simply blame her eggs, when reviewing our cycle our RE said the quality just wasn't there.

He said the fact that we had to do a 3 day transfer with a double donor cycle was a red flag to him. Ummm yeah, I felt the same way when we got that call on day 3.

The good news is that he truly believes we will be successful. My husband asked him 'is it possible that we are really this unlucky?' our RE told him 'yes. It will happen.'
We will both believe it if it happens, but yes, honestly, I'm still optimistic, but scared out of my mind.

So we are moving forward with a new donor. The agency was closed from 12-23 to 1-6, so nothing has been sent to our clinic. Hoping we get back on track this week....

Rachel- glad you found a new place for the animals!

Mrs.C430- big hugs. Even when you know it's negative, that call is gut wrenching. Hope you get hot water back soo.

Geordie- I haven't cycled in a year yet it was crazy that it was so "normal" to pick it right back up. Hope AF eases up.

Km672- I agree with your RE that it was a bad cycle. I hope you hear something soon about your new donor. Always rooting for you! This bad luck has got to stop.

AFM: I got the call this morning that we're on for a 5dt! I won't get any updates on the embryos until transfer on Saturday. In the past I would have freaked about not knowing but I'm enjoying this week for what it is and am doing the "ignorance is bliss" method. I just don't need information This time until it actually matters. I fly out tomorrow morning. I have a "spa" day booked for Friday and will meet my RE for the first time for a mock transfer.

I finally had my OB agree to send me to the repro endo! I am so nauseous which my gastro person says is from the estrogen being so high. Otherwise still freezing my behind off here.

Hey ladies I'm at work so quicke update . Kinda nervous for my endo scratch tomorrow but ready to get it over with. The cramping can be a bit overwhelming at first and the bleeding is a mother... But gotta do it. Ready to get things moving and this bloat is already annoying. Working tomorrow after my procedure should be interesting. And fri have a short day and off sat.
Cheering all you ladies on and ready to get some good news on this board very soon!

AFM: Nothing exciting going on. I don't know if I'm still getting over the flu or maybe I have a bit of anemia, but I feel lethargic and have zero drive to do anything. My Christmas decor is still up and I just can't force myself to pack it all away. I keep telling myself "maybe I'll do it tomorrow".

Hi girls, hugs to those that need them, I only have time for a quick check in but I will respond more individually later! Day 5 bcp, got our meds price quote and it was $3,000 more than we were anticipating so we are scrambling to rub our pennies together. I've added it up and we have spent almost $20,000 on meds alone so far in this journey, I know it could be wayyy worse but unfortunately we are at empty so it's been a stressful few days.

Sorrellam - so sorry about the cost of your meds... Ouch. Maybe play the lottery? Lol, that's my husbands answer for all of this...'maybe we will win the lottery?' Maybe it's just his excuse to keep buying scratch tix and lottery tix because he has always played.

Just trying to keep busy over here. Have my two week checkup tomorrow which I'm glad because its been almost three weeks and I'm still having cramping and bleeding its getting annoying now!!!! I also started researching for a new MFM for whenever we try again... I'm also trying to figure out info about genetic counseling looks like that's our first step. On another note, I went to my first Share meeting last night (like Resolve but for loss) and feel like that's a good place for me to be. DH and I also have met a grief counselor twice and like her for us as a couple.

We are doing well at 27 weeks. It still feels surreal. I am anxious and thrilled about our first shower tomorrow. Hugs and good vibes to everyone on this board. I check in regularly and have you each in my thoughts and prayers.
