Spelling Poll...

Which is the traditional spelling of "Mad-a-lynn" DH likes it, I do too...but maybe as a MN for Eve not FN anyways we DO NOT want a name with "lynn" in it as I'm not a fan of that or any "extra letters" especially Ys

@Hisgirlfriday929 I would pronounce which ever choice as "Mad-a-lynn" I don't like "Mad-a-line" and that was my concern with spelling it the traditional way, although according to my SIL the second option in the poll is/ or can be pronounced "Mad-a-lynn" I think the first option "looks" better but I would pronounce it "Mad-a-lynn" as well.

I am pretty sure Madeleine is French and Madeline is English. So both are correct, traditional spellings.

Thanks @strawberrytree perhaps its because my SIL took french that she prefers the second choice, I just wanted to make sure that both were traditional spellings, which apparently is the consensus with the poll still at 50/50

Mad-uh-lynn is a normal pronunciation - I wasn't sure which you preferred.  I was only saying how I would pronounce each one if I wasn't told otherwise.

Madeline Rose is really pretty
