Nicki's AIO vs. Imagine AIO

Here's a side by side of Nicki's and Imagines AIOs. Nicki's rise is significantly larger. H is around 20lbs +/- and wears most of his diapers on the middle rise including Nicki's. The imagine I can barely get on him even with the rise all the way unsnapped. Imagine is also awkwardly wide in my opinion. In the one pic I put the Nicki's on top of the imagine and you can see how short and fat the imagine is. Some other differences include the inside where the soaker snaps in is covered w PUL in Nicki's and bamboo in Imagine. The other most noticeable difference is the leg elastics are stitched differently. The Nicki's are stitched like a simplex while the Imagines are in a casing like a Tots Bots. I like the Nicki's style better, but that's just personal preference. For the sake of comparison I also grabbed 2 other OS AIOs out of the drawer (simplex and TB) and put them next to each other so you can see them size wise.
All in all, I hate my imagine and I keep it in the back of my van in case of an emergency, but so far I'm really liking the Nicki's. I haven't used it long, so I can't say how the aplix will hold up over time but so far it seems really good and sticky.

Thinking is hard. Andplusalso, I might cry if the chevron is the one you don't like b/c it is too cute to be a "back of the van" diaper.

That is really strange about the size difference between the two?? I just put mine side by side and the Nicki's is just barely larger than my Imagine, not nearly as big of a difference as yours. 

ETA: inside pic - the Imagine actually looks bigger than the Nickis here

I have to agree that crotch on the Imagine is obnoxiously wide!

Also, are the snaps on your Imagine crazy strong? They are almost *too* strong - I have to seriously tug to get them apart.

The Nicki's is bamboo and the Imagine is Stay-Dry -- Could that be the difference? You would think it'd be the same size/diaper, just different insides. Strange!

I've had the Nicki's for less than a week -- I just checked and I ordered the Imagine back in March

ETA: I just remembered that I ordered the Imagine back when they were very new and had "introductory pricing" -- Maybe they changed the design since the original?

I was so sad when I got my Imagine AIO since I liked the NB ones so much. I also hate the OS. Though making it a back of the van diaper is a good idea.

I'm not a fan of either my Imagine or my Nickis.  But they are pretty close in size, I think I heard Imagine redid it's design.  In any event, I'm glad I only own one of each dipe.

Both my nikkis and my imagine are back of the pile diapers. I just don't like how the inserts are attached. I know a lot of people love them, so I may just destash them so someone else can enjoy them.

I can't understand why a stay-dry & bamboo would be so different? Crazy! Only thing I can think is that I probably got the OG of the Imagine Dipes and they've probably re-designed them. Don't really understand why they'd make them smaller though, KWIM? Weird.

Hm. I have other diapers that are the same brand but one is Stay-Dry and the other is Bamboo/Natural Fiber and they are always the same diaper, just different insides. Is your Imagine pocket really small like OP's AIO? I have 2 Imagine AIO's and I debated ordering another 1 or 2 but I don't want to if it's going to be super small.
