Mesh feeders

I know several of you have discussed mesh feeders in the past and saw some of you recommended silicone feeders due to easy clean up. I was reading reviews online that stated too much/large pieces of food come out using these feeders. Those of you who use them, what is your recommendations? I currently have a nuby and used banana once....which he loved....but even after cleaning it, I felt it wasn't clean enough and unsafe to reuse and to replace the mesh bags each time would be costly. Any suggestions?

We use the sassy mesh feeders that we got from babies r us. My LO loves them! We haven't had any choking issues with it and he can get his fruit or whatever sucked down pretty small. My LO's favorite is frozen cantaloupe. As soon as LO is done with it I rinse the mesh part with super hot water and it gets washed in hot soapy water when bottles get washed. I replace it at least every week.

Thanks ladies. Purchasing kidsme feeder set now. Figured I can use the large one too in the future
