New issues

I’ve been laying low lately.  To be honest for the first time in this journey I am beginning to question if I have the strength for this anymore. 

We received our records from our CO workup just before Christmas and they came with two lovely surprises.  Firstly, DH’s morphology was 0% and his motility was low.  We thought our MFI issues were solved as the supplement regime he has been on for several years has kept his figures in an acceptable range but obviously now that has changed.  Oddly his DNA fragmentation was fine.  

The other new issue is I tested positive for Anticardiolipin Antibodies (IgM).  I have had these tested twice previously and was negative.  I did have a slightly prolonged PTT when I was tested after the second loss but the Russell Viper Venom and Staclot LA tests came back negative.  At this point I know that the prudent thing would be to go to KK.  I made an appointment with her in the spring after the loss but cancelled because there wasn’t really any evidence to suggest I had an immune issue.  I don’t know, I just feel like I have lost my strength for this.  The whole CO thing really sucked the life out of me.  

We have our DE consult with the new clinic next week.  I guess I’ll just wait to see what the new doc says and go from there.

I am so sorry you are down. Your situation is in really hard but I think you just learned some very helpful things to help you move into the next phase of your journey. If anyone can help you with the Apa its def kk. Perhaps if you could swing it a vacation with lots of umbrella cocktails is in order to rejuvenate. When I got to this juncture I went to therapy just to talk or yell at someone other than DH kickboxing also helps.

Do whatever you have to and get your Warrior game back!

Thanks luvboston.  I guess I'm just having a bad couple of days.  It is really unlike me to feel beaten.  Hopefully it is just a phase and I get my warrior back soon!

Sorry. The emotional roller coaster really gets to me at times and I'm usually a very positive person. A break or laying low usually helps for me to get my strength back. Sorry for all the bad news from CO. I'd be pretty upset about it too.

I'm sorry the MFI issues were worse than expected and you keep running into problems. FX your consult next week will help you know what to do going forward. ((hugs))

I'm so sorry you are feeling so deflated. It's exhausting when you keep hitting barriers and can't climb them. I totally understand. I wish I had words of wisdom.

I'm sorry you are going through all of this. IF is hard but it's even worse when you feel you got knocked down and don't habit it in you to even stand again. Is it possible to maybe do something special for you and DH? Maybe a weekend get away? Something to life your spirits? Big big hugs sweetie.

It's hard to keep going after so long, it's exhausting and depressing actually.

Take some time to take good care of yourself. I hope your new DE consult brings some clarity and renewed hope.
