Congrats on your little boy! You need to take some (if not many) of the comments you get on these BMB boards with a grain of salt - some people just have nothing nice to say. Who cares where you post your announcement?! Honestly. And, frankly, who cares if they don't like your poem - you thought it was a cute so you posted it. I've seen some horrific gender and pregnancy announcements on here that have gotten "oh that's so cute" feedback, when really it wasn't. Nonetheless, Congrats again!

Is it on the blog or somewhere that when you DD, you have to make the title a .? I don't know how they all know to do this! Great job with the QFP today ladies! OP, that poem is awful. Don't use hat as your announcement,

Ah, an eternal question, @emilyh107. There are three main types of DD'ers:

1. The SCREW ALL OF YOU, WHERE'S THE SUPPORT. They know we are wrong and are actually all at the same computer, taking turns to mock them and their post. These people seldom return, but often lurk. They also get new SNs and then out themselves immediately.

2. The "I don't care what you think, xoxo happy face happy face." This person, in spite of their claim not to care, DDs anyway and then posts in other threads like nothing ever happened. They are annoying.

3. The n00b. This is the most delicate and potentially entertaining of the DDers, as this n00b can either become totally normal after they realize their mistake, or suddenly explode in a whirlwind of f-words and feeling sorry for our children. Beware the n00b.

How do these people who never come on and post, create some AW post, get flamed for it, and then somehow know EXACTLY how to DD and make it so those of us who just want to enjoy a little midday crazy have a hell of a time navigating through the pages?!

Thanks for the links. You are all amazing, I myself am not very funny which is why I don't contribute much to these posts but I do enjoy the reading material and fully support all of you "non supportive, hate the world, awful people"
