Amazon Mom??

Hey- is anyone considering (or have already) using Amazon mom? Just curious, if anyone found it to be a good deal or what pros/cons they had about it. I am debating signing up but still have some time to think :)
Me 36/DH 46 Me: Low AMH (.21) DOR, mild endo; Started seeing RE 11/12
Jan-March '13 3 IUIs Clomid + Trigger = BFN
April '13 IVF 1 MDLF converted to 4th IUI due to 3 runaway follicles! BFN
July/Aug '13 IVF 1.2 Long Lupron = 7R, 6F, 2T= BFP!!!
Beta 1=512, Beta 2=1,368 Beta 3= 4,128
It's a boy!!!!

    My SIL recommended it for diapers but I'm not sure yet. She is on her second baby and already knew about how many diapers or supplies she will need to order in advance. Being a FTM I rather go to the store and buy and take home Vs waiting for it in the mail or running out and having to buy some on amazon and some at the store. Maybe for my second when I get comfortable or when the baby is older and i'm in the swing of things I think I might try.

    My friend had it and she really recommends it. I think I might sign up for it. We have Amazon Prime already and it is awesome! I can't imagine Amazon Mom would be a waste.

    DH had been thinking about Amazon Prime...he worked out the cost and said that it would be worth it for household items. I'm thinking Amazon Mom would be too...especially for the convenience.

    The Amazon mom membership comes free with Prime.  I have both, but haven't taken advantage of any Amazon mom stuff just yet...I'm interested to see what others do.

    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    I recommend you sign for updates on diaper and formula deal from a blog. I use baby cheapskate. I l love it. She gives you breakdown of the lowest prices every week. You can also research prices per diaper in each size. Packs of diapers get smaller as babies grow. Amazon is my main source of diapers and formula, but some weeks Walmart wins. I recommend it. highly, but do shop around. Learn prices. Paying more than 3-4 cents a wipe is too high for example. 

    Good luck and I hope you like Amazon. I have been using it now for four years and love it.

    I've been using Amazon mom since 2010. Hands down the best prices on diapers, especially with Subscribe and Save. The wipes deals are hard to beat too.

    Amazon shipping is two days. With subscribe and save you get your delivery by a certain date of every month. Normally you can return stuff from the Baby Store within 90 days, no questions asked.

    Once you learn how to work the system, you'll find most things baby are cheaper here. I ordered my baby food from there too. I literally get stuff every week.

    @bbcolt78 thanks! I think I am at the cusp of an addiction. All of my Christmas shopping was done through them. My mom asked me where to buy something- I told her Amazon and she asked me how to get there! Clueless!

    Ha! I bought my mom Prime about two years ago for part of her gift and now she loves it. If you've done Christmas shopping there, you'll love the Mom!

    I just signed up for Amazon Mom when we ordered our infant carseats through Amazon a few weeks ago!  Amazon has a free 3 month trial of Amazon Mom that includes the 2-day Amazon Prime shipping (you don't get the other Prime membership perks, like tv/movie streaming...).  I think we'll probably continue it when the trial is over, since we'll be going through a truckload of diapers and wipes during the first year with twins!  I like the idea of knowing that a shipment will arrive by a set date each month, and we can order more as needed with just 2-day shipping. 

    Our next door neighbors have a one-year old, and they swear by diapers.com as the cheapest(also 2-day shipping) - I swear the UPS guy stops at their house almost every day!  Another option to consider!

    *Started TTC again July 2012 with Clomid, 6 cycles from July-Dec. 2012, all BFN
     
    *1 cycle no meds: BFN
     
    *1 cycle Femara: BFN
     
    *1st RE visit March 2013 - first IUI in April 2013 with Femara, Menopur, and Novarel (BFN); second IUI in May 2013, same protocol (BFN); two cycle break;  third IUI in August 2013, same protocol (BFN)

    *1st IVF cycle, October 2013 (Synarel, Menopur (75 iu), and Gonal-F (150 iu)) -- BFP!!  Saw two babies at our 5wk5d u/s on Oct. 28th!  EDD=June 25, 2014

    It's been a long time since I've compared. But when it came to price per diaper. Diapers.com was far off from Amazon. My big research was really when DD was newborn though. Id be interested to see how they are now!

    I love Amazon. I already have Amazon Prime and had no idea this existed. Will definitely be checking it out!
