Shot in the dark here given this seems to be rare, but does anyone else have vasa previa? If so, how is your OB managing it?
I knew I had a low lying placenta, which migrated up enough for a vaginal delivery, but apparently, there is a stubborn blood vessel close to my cervix (just discovered today during an ultrasound). I am only at 36 weeks and they are planning a c-section for this Thursday (I will be 37 weeks). But from what I've read, the common recommendation is delivery by c-section by 35 weeks, to reduce the chance of fetal death. I'm very scared about waiting even a couple of days and I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through this.
