GD- Second Pregnancy

Anyone on here had GD with their first pregnancy and been pregnant afterwards? Did you have GD the second time? Did you get tested at the same time as the first pregnancy, or did you get tested earlier?

I struggled with GD with LO, and now that I'm pregnant again, people say that I'll be tested earlier, and will most likely have a harder time to control it this time. Is this true? I'll be talking with my doctor when I see her, but that's only in a few weeks.

Curious to hear what people have to say on this.

I've also heard that they'll test earlier.  I've also heard that it's unlikely they'll do the 1-hr first, just go straight to a 2 or 3 hour test.

It scares me that I might have to get tested for GD at twelve weeks, and that it might be positive. The last three months of my pregnancy were really hard last time, I felt like I was always always always hungry and anything I would eat would send my blood sugar over the recommended level.

I'll update this thread when I know when the testing will happen. Thank you ladies for your advice and knowledge!
