weekly check-in Jan 6-12

Hey ladies,

This is our new check-in, let's us this as a place to cheer each other on and to stay motivated. please answer the following:

A) quick intro with your goals
B) how was last week
C) what is your favorite post-exercise treat

Me:

A) I have 16 month old triplets. I am back at workfull time and struggling to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. My goal is to drop at a minimum 5lbs but would love to loose the last 20. I was a varsity xcountry/track runner (distance) and want to get back into running shape. Currently, I am running 20 minutes only, 2-3 times a week (if I am lucky) after the LOS go down at night - only have time for 20 minutes.

B) as I was still on vacation last week, it was a bust. Only ran once :( but I have been eating better and started weekly meal planning.

C) I love a big glass of chocolate mike but to be honest. I haven't bought any in over 2 years.

    I'm a FTM due June 14.

    A) quick intro with your goals
    1. My goal is to train 3 times each week. I have worked with a trainer for 3 years and don't plan to stop.

    2. I also have a long term goal of completing a marathon January 2015 - 7 months after giving birth.

    3. My plan is to have a huge fresh salad as 1 meal each day.

    B) how was last week
    Bleh. I only made it twice but one of the two days I did 40 mins of cardio and 45 weights/core.

    C) what is your favorite post-exercise treat
    I love exercising at around 10 or 11am. 90% of time I go straight from workout to have lunch. That's my treat. I love a bagel and hot chocolate before my races (running).

  • A) quick intro with your goals
    I'm a FTM to a 3 month old girl.  I ran until just shy of 40 weeks but haven't logged many miles since.  Cold/icy weather and lack of treadmill time make it difficult.  My goal is 520 miles in 2014, an average of 10 miles/week.

    B) how was last week
    Mile-wise...terrible!  I ran 1. Ha :) However, we were snowed in so I relied on Youtube video workouts to stay on track somewhat.

    C) what is your favorite post-exercise treat
    WATER! And maybe a beer or two after a long run

  • A) Intro/goals- I'm a SAHM to a little girl (17 months). Goal is to lose the last bit of weight I have and tone my trouble areas. I went back on WW Dec 30th and have been staying within my points range- I've used a couple weekly points :D but was totally worth it.

    B) Last week- Was good- worked out every morning and ate well. Night time is still my down fall. Wanting to have a second glass of wine or wanting to eat a late  night snack.

    C) Post exercise treat- protein shake- banana/pb/chocolate whey/oats.
