I'm working on design an invite for a gender reveal party and was trying to think of some different ways to refer to gender, i.e. guys or dolls, quarterback or cheerleader, beau or bow, bowtie or tutu, etc. Has anyone seen any other really cute ideas? I just want to come up with all the option before I commit. Thanks!

Oh dear.
You aren't quite getting it.
Sure your family is interested to know what sex your baby is. But why does it have to be surrounded with fanfare? How about simply calling the important people in your life and letting them know over the phone.
Generally speaking "gender" reveal parties are a bit over the top. A whole party dedicated to three words (it's a ______). Why is that party worthy?
If you want to gather a few close family members and a best friend or two and serve dinner and cake-- fine.
But serioulsy, don't bother your friends with this nonsense.

I laughed at "due date reveal party". I hope that's the next thing. Would probably end with a lot of furious mothers-to-be storming out after people guessed "over due with twins".
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:

Oh, please don't give the tackinistas more ideas!
Too late. Someone apparently already has started it. https://modgarden.blogspot.com/2011/06/sweet-somethings-nursery-reveal-party.html
Anyway...
To the original poster: Before my sister accidentally spilled the beans on my nephews gender, I had designed an invitation for her gender reveal party. We were only planning on having about 15-20 of our closest friends and family to have appetizers and dessert. Not really a big deal. The wording on the invitation was:
Tonka Trucks or Princess Pearls?
Will baby Jones be a boy or a girl?
Please join us for a gender reveal party honoring proud parents-to-be Mary Smith and Steve Jones.
Hope that helps.
There's a party I would come to.

Why people feel that EVERY step of their pregnancy and preparing for their baby is OH SO INTERESTING to the rest of the world that it requires a party is truly beyond me.
What kind of awesome bash can we throw for the woman born with two vaginas?
Whatever you do, do not Google vajazzle. It is all kinds of wrong.
You know I had to look, right? That is all sorts of wrong!
Good lord. I did, too. The "I Do" one is horrifying.
This thread got weird.
OK-- confession time.
Back in college, when the JLH vajazzling story came out, I actually thought it was a really cute and sexy idea.
Fresh off of a Brazillian wax, I took myself to Claire's and bought one of those really uber cheesy crystal tattoos that were sort of popular in the early 2000s. They had initials, so I bought a K-- the first initial of my then boyfriend.
He actually thought it was cute as well, but the freshly waxed skin had some sort of reaction to the adhesive on the crystals. I had a bright red spotty K on my vagine for at least a week.
Who wants cake?
