We have been out to eat with our family several times over the holidays. Every single one of our waitresses said while looking at LO "He is so cute! I have a little one and I love them but I am done!"
It was great for my family to hear an outsiders perspective helping support our reasons for remaining a family of three.

Has anyone else had 'support' from others that surprised you?
Re: Support from Strangers
I haven't had the conversation with complete strangers, but I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from casual acquaintances. Over the holidays I got together with some friends and old coworkers that I hadn't seen in years. Most of them are older than me and have kids in college. A few have separated from their husbands around the time the kids left for school. Everyone was very understanding and supportive. Those BTDT moms, especially those that have raised multiple kids to adulthood, now how very hard and challenging parenting is.
