Helloooooo ladies! 3TC was my home board for the last 5 months and now, happily, I'd like to join ya'll. The First Trimester board looks, uhhh, a bit rough for me but like the other new girls (hi @brittneyandadam, @1983lindsey, @ang2016 !) I am anxious and nervous so I hope it's ok if I ask lots of questions. This is my first pregnancy ever. TTC and IF has consumed most of my waking thoughts for so long that now I feel....empty? What a weird thing to say when you're pregnant, right? That's how it feels, though, especially because I don't really feel pregnant at all. I'm trying to keep my stress level to a minimum by not obsessing over every little twinge and torturing myself with google, so I guess I need to get some good books and just focus on being healthy. Any recommendations (WTEWYE?) would be much appreciated. Thanks for listening!

 Clomid w/IUI cycle #1& 2=BFN
Gonal-f w/ IUI cycle #3: 150 IU/day, IUI 12/16=BFP! Beta#1=175 on 12/30, beta#2=950 on 1/3, beta #3=9035 on 1/9; first U/S 1/17 showed one beautiful heartbeat @ 114,  second U/S on 1/24 hr=156 and everything perfect!

    Welcome and congrats!! As PP mentioned, the "what to expect" book is great to refer to. I also bought the Mayo's guide to a healthy pregnancy. I refer to both pretty often (mostly the same info!)
    The transition is rough but we are here if you need anything!!

    April '13 IVF 1 MDLF converted to 4th IUI due to 3 runaway follicles! BFN

    Hi @Lizarella82 !!!! So happy to see you here! ♥ I don't feel much different either....though I've had a lot of cramping over the last few days and my nipples are pretty sore. I'm heading out to buy the What to Expect book after work today. :-)

     Me: POF/DOR - AMH <0.16, heterozygous c677t MTHFR, insulin resistant and gluten intolerant
     DH: Severe MFI

     12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN 
    8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
    My ovaries are just for decoration

     12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
     2/11/13 - DEmbryo FET #1 Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts. 
     2/16/13 - First BFP of my life @ 6dp5dt! EDD 10/30/13
     3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    @ThoseThreeWords the RE was as or more shocked than we were- the nurse said his face when he saw the second beta was priceless! We never expected to get pregnant with IUI- it was just something to do until 2014 when our new insurance and IVF coverage kicked in.

    I actually have had some breast tenderness and gas/bloating (maybe this is the source of twinges and maybe uterus expansion?) off and on, so I guess there have been some symptoms. I just wish there was a little window so I could look in there and see what's going on-waiting for the US is torturous.

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

    Congrats and welcome to PAIF!  I had a lot of cramping at the beginning, and it actually is often a sign that baby is snuggling in and your uterus and ligaments are doing exactly what they need to do.  I do have What to Expect and it's good, but my other book is my favorite.  It's called Your Pregnancy Week by Week.  I also have the What to Expect Pregnancy Journal, where I keep track of everything.

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    This is my first pregnancy too!  Glad to have the bump to go to for support!  :)

    Is it horrible that I haven't wanted to buy WTEWYE yet because I'm so afraid something horrible will happen?  I'm just not ready to get excited.  Maybe after my ultrasound next week.

    @Lizarella82 I went to hand DH my copy of WTEWYE to read up on this week and he said "No thanks, don't need it." And then he started laughing b/c apparently lasers shot out of my eyes and my head spun around. Turns out, DH jumped the gun and has been reading "What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding" and "My Boys Can Swim!" since we had the IUI. Lol. 
    Point being: don't worry about buying the book too early
    Also, I bought "What He Can Expect When She Isn't Expecting" for DH for Xmas. I told him that he had to read it anyway, lol.

    Congrats and welcome! I love seeing other DOR ladies surprising their REs! Don't worry about the symptoms...they come and go and everyone seems to have a different intensity level. H&H 9 mo to you!

    Welcome welcome! It's nice to see our little 3T IUI crew regrouping here. I don't haven't recs, but adorably DH just bought the mayo clinic pregnancy book for his kindle. He has been super hesitant to even admit we are pregnant (I think the threatened miscarriage scare last week really threw him) so I thought it was pretty cute and optimistic that he did that.

    Me: 37 DH: 38 TTC since 2011 DH normal Dx: DOR (AFC ranges from 6-11; AMH 0.16; FSH 11.9; E2 45) 11/13: 1st IVF converted to IUI due to poor response to high dose antagonist protocol (only 3 follies) = BFN 12/13: IUI #2 letrozole + Bravelle = BFP, beta #1 156, beta #2 196 (diff. lab), beta #3 1037; 1st ultrasound @ 5 wks 1 day = 6 mm gest sac; 2nd ultrasound 6 wks 1 day = tiny flickering heartbeat; 3rd ultrasound 7 wks 1 day 10.3 mm embie growing away!
