Snow! Wind!

Is anyone else totally buried in snow?! We live in West Michigan. Everything is closed today and some schools and businesses are calling off tomorrow, too. Our local college just announced they will close through Thursday!

I wish we got snow here. It will be cold enough to snow for a few days, then will go back up to the 50's or 60's so it can rain

I'm in Northern VA, no snow but it was icey this weekend and its suppose to be below 0 tomorrow so everyone is going crazy!

I'm in Maine. We just got out of a deep freeze and now it's pouring and super windy. I don't get it, haha!

Just found out that school is cancelled tomorrow AND so is the university so I have no evening class!

@britvahok they already cancelled Prince Willam for tomorrow! I bet more will follow. DD1 told they didn't have school I totally assumed she misheard her principal sure enough, she was right. Mid westerners will find this laughable, I'm sure.

I'm good with the cold.  )  I like staying inside.  We lived in Florida for six years and while I love mild Florida winters, this is a fun change.

DH and I got hit with a 12-hour stomach bug (him during the day yesterday, me yesterday evening and overnight.)  It was a godsend that schools were closed and that DH could get DD to daycare.

I think she will go to daycare again tomorrow even though I am off.  I should go to school and re-do my plans for this week and next (AGAIN!) and DD has more fun at daycare.

This now makes our holiday break 19 days long since we had school cancelled due to ice on Friday, December 20.  I don't even remember what my students look like.

We have a lot of snow and are expecting more. It's also supposed to be -41C After the windchill tonight. I'll be starting my car periodically tonight to save the battery

I know!  I can't believe how many school districts are closed tomorrow.  Wish I could use that excuse to get out of work!

No snow here in MN, but today had a high of -13F, with wind chills to -60F. Schools were cancelled for today, and now tomorrow too. I wish everything would close!

Everything here really is closed, since we've got negative temps AND lake effect snow.  Things like banks, stores, and restaurants are closed today.  I have to call my chiropractor in a bit to see if my afternoon appointment is still on!  My gym opens at 11:00 AM and I want to get over there and walk for 30 minutes, but I'm not sure it's a smart idea.

Everything here is closed (Buffalo). We are having the first true Blizzard since 1993. That seemed crazy to me since we so live in Buffalo, but I guess it is a combination of wind chill, sustained wind gusts, and snow accumulation ( about 2 feet). We are going stir crazy here. There is even a driving ban!
