And big project due today.
And my sister is watching Ty because his immunization form expired. And MH thinks we can take him to school still even through they sent an email saying he can't come back until we have a new form.

I'm sure there will be more once I get out of bed

LO is sick and teething. We hardly slept. I start a full week back at work and the weather is going to be cold and miserable. I'm so tired.

DS1 and DS2 go back to school today and of course LO wakes up twice to eat. Also today is going to be the coldest day of the year. Why could it not happen while they were on Christmas break. I don't want to get out with it being so cold. I want my Texas weather back!

For once LO is sleeping but for the last week DD has refused to sleep in her room. The stupid neighbors behind us (which are right outside her bedroom window) set of illegal fireworks on New Year's Eve and scared the crap out of her. So, now she's terrified of her room and won't sleep there. We have tried everything to get her back in there and I am exhausted. She is currently sleeping in a sleeping bag on our floor and I'm at a loss for what else to do

We are in the crappy sleep club. I want to cry. He will be sleeping soundly and as soon as I put him down he cries. I hate it so much. I usually just end up crying and putting him in bed with me because I need sleep to work. I also feed whenever he wants because it's easier I hate my snoring husband right now

The windchill is -25 and I have to take DD out in it. Every school in the county is closed except the university I work at. Since classes aren't in session nobody really gives 2 sh*ts about the staff. Even the on campus daycare is closed! If I didn't have an important meeting this morning, I would call in.

1. Snow. 2. I kicked butt working out and on my diet last week. Really the best I've done since I had him. I lost nothing. Not even .2lbs. Freaking nothing. Stupid hormones.

It's 50* and rainy. Not normally something to bitch about, but hear me out. We got a foot of snow on Friday and it's been single digits since so nothing has melted. Now it's suddenly warm and rainy and everything will start melting. The issue is that tomorrow the high is only 16*. So everything that melts today has nowhere to go and is going to freeze solid overnight. Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare.

@nicolereed0324 my LO was doing the exact same thing. Not sure if we are in the clear but last night was much better. How long has this been going on?

I wish Joseph was a cuddler the only time he ever "cuddled" with me was when we use to walk with him to sleep. Since we don't do that anymore it feels like I never get to cuddle with him.

Colton woke up at 4am over the weekend and this morning he had to be woken up at 7am.  It's like he knows....

Thank goodness this was started bc I have a lot of bitching to do.
DH went to Naples for work over the weekend. He's coming back today, so it really wasn't all that bad. Quick, short trip. Except R decided he forgot how to sleep. Not that he was a champion sleeper all of a sudden, but we were down to 3 quick wakeups a night. He was up every 45 minutes to an hour Saturday and Sunday night. He's also rolling to his belly now and wakes up screaming bloody murder and airplaning (that's a word right?). Just lay your head down kid! It's comfy, I promise!
Also, my mother is the least helpful human being on the planet. I called her on my way there this morning to drop the kids off so she could help me get them inside bc it's pouring out and I have my dog, but she didn't answer. I get there and she's standing at the front door in her pajamas (inside the house) watching me juggle R in his car seat, a bag of food for M, M's milk cup and her granola bar, and trying to hold onto her hand bc she can't walk up the THREE FLIGHTS of stairs bc she insisted on wearing her too-big rain boots and trips, all while yelling at my dog to not run into the street. Thanks, mom.
I need a beer. Where's @gigglejiggle? I can be your day drinking buddy today

O refused to sleep in his crib after 4 so I plopped him in the swing (legs dangling off it and all) and he gave me 4 more hours of sleep until the cleaning lady called to cancel coming today. Now my house is dirty and the baby is up. FWP over here .

The power went out on my train 4 times already so I will be about 45 minutes late to work. So I'll get in, get my coffee and computer set up and then have to pump. Employee of the year!
Also I'm an idiot and didn't realize downton was on last night and didn't record it. Hopefully it's up on pbsvideo today!
Oh andplusalso I gained 50 lbs while pregnant. I have lost about 35 and am at 155lbs now. My younger sister had a baby in the middle of November and she is back to 115 lbs already and in a size 2. We are from the exact same gene pool and I hate myself now!!!!

Got E up, dressed, and ready to go only to figure out she doesn't have daycare today
My house STILL looks like a bomb went off in it. I can't seem to get it cleaned!
It's so cold here today and tomorrow is suppose to be wayyyy worse. I don't know how all of you cold-weathered people do it!
My employee at work just called out sick. I have no sitter for today so I'm hoping and praying I don't have to pack E up and take her into work with me.

@ Daisyduck40 - My son isn't a cuddler either. He only cuddles me right after I feed him but that only last for maybe 5 minutes.

 

Last night was the first night we were trying CIO. It wasn't TOO bad but I feel like a horrible person just letting him cry. We didn't go in there because it just gets worse if either one of us go into his room. He thinks I am going to feed him and he thinks it's playtime with dad.

@sctiger I think sleeping with her in her room is the next step. It'll have to be DH though because I'm still feeding DS 1-2 times a night. She has a little twin size bed so I think we will put an air mattress on the floor for him

@HeartLikeMine3 probably 3 weeks or so. I feel like it's my fault because I hold him so much during the day. It's gotten worse since I was off for the holidays. Today is my first day back since the 20th. It's so frustrating. New Year's Eve I tried to put him down before we left and he screamed. My mom picked him up instead of me, rocked him for seriously a minute, and he laid right down for her. He lays down for my husband too. Wahhh

Oh and I guess I slept wrong last night. I woke up with an aching back. Which really sucks when you are dealing with a stage-5 clinger!

O hasn't pooped in 3 days and he's actively trying to push now as he's been pushing and crying for the last hour. Poor baby

@nicolereed0324, three weeks is a long time. LO only did that too me 4 night well at least I hope it's over I think it was teething. I hold LO all day too, hoping your LO gets back into his routine after going back to daycare. I know how hard it is getting no sleep.

@phishgirl29 aww I figured you already tried that. Maybe pears will work better or try getting him to drink some water to get things going. Hope he gets some relief.

DS1 and DS2 were supposed to go back to school today but DS2 was throwing up yesterday and today he woke up having diarrhea. Now DS1 is throwing up. I don't need them to be sick!

@HeartLikeMine3 I hope it ends soon' it's been off and on for 3 weeks but really really bad the last week. I told my husband last night that he needs to help more.

So my SO and I have this deal that when he decides he's going to stay up all night and sleep all damn day that he is supposed to take care of Grayson at night when he wakes up. Usually he does this but last night he didn't. He decided he wanted to play video games with my brother. Grayson sleeps in our room in his crib and SO didn't even bother to take the monitor with him. So I had to be the one to get up with Grayson because my SO is an ass.

And it's -7 outside and I have no idea what it feels like because of the windchill. Grayson's 6 month appt is today at 2 but I have to reschedule it because there is no way I'm taking him outside unless I absolutely have to.

@nicolereed0324, thank you I hope it sticks and wasn't just a one night thing. Me and DH made an agreement if he wakes up before 1am he goes and I go after that. I figure he's not really hungry if he wakes up before then.

I made chocolate chewies yesterday and ate too many so last night I had a belly ache, wake up this morning and eat another 2 and now feel crappy again.  I have no one to blame but myself... 

My house is a wreck and I need to majorly purge DS' toys but can't bring myself to throw them out.  But I feel like Goodwill doesn't want banged up crappy plastic toys.

Word for freaking word. The scale actually shows a 1 lb gain. I'm so angry I am saying all the curses (in my head cos you know me).

My LO is also sleeping crappy now.  We have moved him into his own room and he has been up 4 or 5 times a night when he was reliably once MAYBE twice. Then the other night he slept from 730pm to 5am and I hoped it was a new habit. HA nope! 

I don't know if it is crib related or "I can crawl now and I want to MOVE ALL THE TIME TO ALL THE THINGS"! I feel like life as i know it has changed now that i have a moving baby!

I hope everything turns out ok @subliminalrabbit.  Big layoffs at the mouse house? I have two friends who are up there (one in network one in cable).

 

My bitch for today is that an increasingly mobile child coupled with an open floor plan home and no childproofing is a disaster. My husband thinks we should pen her in, and I think that's a crappy idea. I wish we could figure out how to do things without a huge overhaul, but I'm sure that's what it will come down to.
