It's almost 1 am. Porker just had 4 ounces!!!! He is almost out of his newborn diapers but technically he's not supposed to be born for another two weeks.

Now DH and I are watching a sick documentary about the best sushi chef in Japan. My mouth is salivating...a lot!!!

@labpupluv opps I forgot my audience. My apologies to you ladies that are still cooking. When I first came out of the hospital, I made DH drive me 80 miles (near my parents) for my favorite sushi restaurant. We ordered at least 10 rolls and countless amounts of sushi and I ate it like a piggy. One of the most glorious meals of my life! I highly recommend you do the same as soon as that LO is out. There shouldn't be a restriction on how much you eat even if you are bf.

That sounds like a brilliant plan! I already bought some champaign to celebrate too. Would that be weird to break out in my recovery room? I wonder how many new mamas drink alcoholic beverages while still in the hospital... LOL

I'm here.... 2 cars stuck at the end of our driveway.. We are supposed to have a 7am appt but no way our car will make it I'm a bit stressed because I've been borderline pre-e & I'm due weds but nothing we can do about Mother Nature!!

My hospital allows you to bring in champagne for after the birth. I think that you can even buy it at the gift shop. I think a bunch of people do it!

I've never been a sushi fan but now that I'm not supposed to eat it and everyone's been talking about it, I really want some. I don't think there's even a place to get any around here though. What I'm really looking forward to is going out and having my first legal drink.

I'm here and up as well. C-section is happening Wednesday morning so I've been wracking my brain trying to make sure I haven't forgotten to do anything to be ready before LO comes. I've also been reading all about breastfeeding on KellyMom. It's the one thing I'm most anxious about and feel like I will have no clue what to do when it's time. Anyone else feeling this way lately? I think it has gotten worse the farther along in the pregnancy I am. In the past I've always just studied up on whatever it is I feel like I need to know but it seems like no matter how much reading I do, I just don't feel like I'll be prepared. I'm such a nervous nerd.

@LadyFilet I hate my boobies. Boo. But Noah breastfed a little earlier and didn't try to bite my nipple off so that was nice!

@megs12914 how is your supply? Is reglan helping at all? Any side effects?

@LadyFilet I keep forgetting to not scare the still pregnant ladies! Sorry. It feels like rainbows and clouds when they latch (it really wasn't bad tonight when they get on there right)!

@Kvochka it is ok. He eats about 6 times a day and is starting to increase the amount but I can normally give him 4 bottles if I pump like a maniac. I think the reglan is helping a little. I have to talk to my doc today about keeping it up for longer and maybe upping the dose. I was so afraid of the depression side effects but I honestly haven't noticed anything. I'm glad to hear Jacob is working on being a chunk!

@megs12914 glad you are making milk and that you are bf too! That's great. Hopefully your supply will continue to increase. You've worked so hard on it. I hope your LC allows you to continue on reglan. I forgot what mine said, but she only wanted me to be on it temporarily and order the donperidone online. Interesting to see what your doc will recommend. Glad you don't have any bad side effects!

I am here again. My mouth wont stop hurting. My wisdom teeth are shreeding my gums and it hurts so bad. They usually dont bother me much, but i guess increased blood flow has made my gums more sensitive? Tylenol barely touches this crap. Does anyone know if you can have wisdom teeth cut out while pregnant?

@Kvochka I am worried though because it isn't increasing with his age or supply and demand. In case you wanted all the gory details, I only get 10 from the left and 30 from the right. Ugh! His latch two days ago hurt so bad I thought I was bleeding for real. I'm hoping when I can breastfeed more than once or twice a day for twenty minutes each that my body will get the picture. My OB had only written me the script for 5 days so I am hoping she will let me do the two weeks like your doctor did.

Did you say you are of Russian decent? I thought you said somewhere in Eastern Europe. My moms whole side is Russian and you can tell by looking at me. I got all the pale skin and the nose and none of my dad's Italian side. Stupid genes!

Ps- sorry my typing sucks!! In bed wearing both wrist splints for the carpal tunnel. Good practice for when I'm one finger typing while nursing perhaps !!

I'm here! No school tomorrow bc of the cold and since both my husband and I are teachers it's an extra day off for us tomorrow...I'd really like to have the baby tomorrow so we had some ST in hopes that it might help, either way soon enough we won't be able to so taking advantage of it now!

I also had a 2 hr nap today so that might be contributing to my staying up late...

No idea about getting them removed, but mine were pretty bad a few months ago and I used this stuff:

 and it was a huge relief.

@megs12914 yup I'm Ukrainian. I actually have a pretty darker complexion than most Russians, but I think it's Bc of my Jewish heritage.

Jacob is not letting me sleep tonight. Sigh

It is 12:25 here.  Wide awake with low back pain and menstrual like cramps.  Trying to not get my hopes up that it is leading to labor.  Less contractions than I normally have at this time of night.  DH and I had sex earlier today and I got this same pain last week when we did it.

I read that if you drink a glass while you are feeding, then the alcohol should be out of your system by the next feeding.  Your body can't absorb it quickly enough to affect the 1st feeding.  I would feel very weird drinking with the baby on my boob, but this makes sense!  Although, I will double check on this before I actually do it.
