NTTCAL: Wow, what a new year

DH and I found out a few minutes before we left to hang out with our dear friends last night that our condo was sold and we have to move! ?We have to be out of the place by January 31st!

?

It seems so surreal. ?I mean, we both knew that this would be a possibility if we were renting out a condo from the management, but its been over 2 years since we moved in and the cost is outrageous! ?We thought we were pretty safe in our place since the price was so high, the market was so bad, etc etc.

So now we're on the hunt for a place. A home, an apartment, something! What a wild ride its been already! ?So please, if you don't mind, keep us in your thoughts, would you? ?Thanks!?

    What a crappy thing to have to deal with at the start of a new year.  I will definitely keep you guys in my thoughts.

    I actually think that sounds exciting!  I love getting a new place and starting with a clean slate.  Plus, this is a great time to buy something if you can.  The rates are so low and the prices are down.  Good luck!!

    We're looking to rent again, since it would be so quick to find a house that we love and get everything in order to purchase it within the month.

    We have a rental possibility that we're looking at on Saturday (and going to try to line some other options up for tomorrow). ?The one on Sat is half our current rent price, and it includes utilities! But it is about another 25 miles north of where we live now. ?That would make our daily commutes to work being about 47 miles one-way! YIKES!
