Anybody had a baby with leukodystrophy? My niece was born with it, she died at 6 months old. We still don't know what type she had. All we know is that the white matter in her brain wasn't developing, and it was disappearing. My sister really wants another baby. So I had trouble telling her I was expecting again. But I've done research and can't find a lot I'm trying to figure out if people have had healthy babies before or after having a child with leukodystrophy

Thanks and she has talked to a dr and they have sent off blood and tissue from herself her fiancé and the baby but they still don't know anything they told her their best guess would be a 1/4 chance of it happening again we live in Ky and they sent there stuff to Washington to a specialist but still nothing
