Fibroids?

When I had my first ultrasound my doctor told me I had fibroids, but she didn't seem very concerned about them when I asked.  On my last u/s when I found out about the m/c, I had a bunch of cysts on my uterus that you could see on the ultrasound.  She said it was probably just due to the hormones.  I plan to ask her more about the fibroids at my appointment Friday, but I keep reading that fibroids can cause miscarriages.  I am very worried now because they require surgical removal from what I've read.  Have any of you ever been told that your m/c was caused by fibroids??
