One small step for man...

...one GIANT leap for DH.

I've been ready for a baby for a few years now and it's been a long wait getting DH to join me. Back in September we finally set a timeline, and we are now just 4 months away from go time.

Today, I heared him on the phone telling a family member that we were starting to plan the nursery so we could start trying in a few months. They must have asked when b/c his reply was "hopefully sooner rather then later."

I realize this may not seem like a big deal, but this is literally the first time he has brought up anything baby related to anyone. Usually it's me talking babies and him silently standing by nodding occasionally. So it was a big deal to hear him say all that, and I just feel so happy and excited that he's finally opening up about it all. I'm one happy lady right now. :)

    Good luck! We're planning to start trying in about four months also!
