What are you doing this weekend?

Yesterday was supposed to be my last day at work, but between end of month billing and 5 new admissions, I stayed till 7 and still didn't get everything done. So I went in to work today for a "few hours" which turned into 7 hours, but all of my patients were seen, end of month billing is complete, and all loose ends are tied up as best as possible to leave the department for 3 months-ish.

We are expecting record cold, around 13 degrees, Monday night, so I planned to help my husband prepare the house. Stayed at work too long so we will do that tomorrow. 13 degrees in New Orleans is a big deal! Crossing my fingers that the change in pressure with the cold front doesn't trigger pregnancy like the change in pressure from a hurricane is rumored to!

Just finished dinner, watching the Pelicans game and waiting for the Saints to come on. WHO DAT BABY!!!

Today I put away Christmas decorations, cleaned a little, made a pie, did some laundry, and watched WAY too much Grey's Anatomy on Netflix.
Tonight, DH and I went to Saturday night church and got groceries so tomorrow we can hibernate with our furbaby. It's supposed to get bitter cold here and we could get over a foot of snow in 24 hours. Bring it on!

Yay Snowpocalypse! I live in West Michigan and people are going BSC! It would be amazing if I didn't have to work Monday, but I'm not planning on it.

Pretty much nothing…DH is rearranging lots of things in an effort to clean out the nursery room since it became a catch all storage room 3 months ago. I'm happy to report that you can see the floor and there are only about 5 things left that don't actually belong in there and they are all small.

We are expecting freezing rain early tomorrow morning and I would love to make a trip to the craft store and target, but the weather may prevent that.

Trying to not be sick, nurse round the clock, make cookies with DD, and I bought DS pants today because apparently he has no pants!

Lazy day today other than tons of laundry. Tomorrow we need to last minute grocery shop. We have brunch plans with friends but not much else going on. I'm being induced on Monday so I will be getting everything ready to go.

Well in MN our governor has closed all public schools on Monday due to severe below zero temps after windchill. They are talking feels like 50 below. This gives an extra day to our weekend...however I literally spent a full working day in my classroom today getting things ready for maternity leave. I wanted to have everything ready for my sub in case something happens before Tuesday which is my last teaching day. I would totally be ok with having a baby tomorrow...but alas I'm feeling pretty good and zero contractions.

Today, Mom took my sister and me to get our hair done. My parents and sister go to a work conference every year in January, so it makes a nice Christmas present and girls day out, every year. We brought DS1 along with us, to give DH a little break. Anyway, we got our hair done, then went shopping (I got nothing, mostly Mom and sis needed clothes for the conference) and had a nice dinner out.

Tonight, I plan on trying to watch more LOTR, since I fell asleep during it last night. I also want to try and talk DH into letting us (or at least me) go to a family gathering. I've sort of dreamed that it would put me into labor being there...but the high for tomorrow is 4*F. DH doesn't want to leave the house. So, tomorrow would be church in the morning, then family gathering afterwards, then home before dark to put feet up and watch more LOTR.

laying in misery on the couch. DH and I are both sick. Hoping I do not go into labor in the next two day since we are getting 8-12 inches of snow and live a half an hour away from the hospital (all highway, like 38 miles) in good weather since my baby is breech. So i need to get in as soon as I go into labor. Makes me nervous. We did go to the store because we are out of food. We didn't know till a couple hrs ago that we were getting this storms tonight. We didn't watch the news today. Good thing I checked out facebook and saw everyone's panicky post. The grocery store was pretty picked over too. We manage to scrape up some items though.
