This is my first pregnancy, I'm 15 weeks along and on December 30th I went out to a restaurant to eat, got a salad, a pulled pork sandwich, & some mashed potatoes. (Yum!) And the day after I woke up terribly nauseous, and ended up throwing up just liquid (my mother said it was bile?) this happened about 3 other times as well. The highest my fever hit was 100.3. But I'm not sure if I got good poisoning or if it might be stomach flu going around? My fiancé ate the same thing at the restaurant. But since then I have not been throwing up but I've had VERY constant liquid diahrrea and I'll get sharp stomach pains before I have the urge to go. I called my nurse yesterday and she said to go on the brat diet, so I did. But I can't see any dr till Monday unless I go to ER. Everyone's telling me I'm just worrying and it's my 1st pregnancy it's okay to be scared, but I'm still scared. Is there any advice or have any of you ever had issues with possible food poisoning or flu while being pregnant? How concerned should I really be about my baby and myself?
Also, if the brat diet doesn't seem to help, and I continue to have the liquid diahrrea over the weekend I will be calling my drs office and finding out more information..
