T&P.... In L&D, Update 2

So.....I went for a regular OB appt this afternoon and she did a cervical check since I'm pretty sure I lost my mucous plug on Tuesday. Turns out I was 1 cm dilated and once she hooked me up to the monitor and I was having contractions. Off to L&D I went and contractions got stronger with just IV fluid so they've started a magnesium drip and gave me the first steroid shot for baby boys lungs. Really need baby to stay put since were in Albany and because of the baby's mass, were supposed to deliver in Philadelphia. We really need to make 36 weeks to minimize other complications since he's facing enough with the mass in his armpit. I'm 33w5d now. Any T&P would be really appreciated.

Update: still here, still contracting. They were irregular overnight but have been on average 6-8 min today. I'm not feeling them anymore and I'm still only 1cm dilated. My MFM is out of town so his partner is talking to Philly trying to make a plan. Thanks for all the T&P.

Update 2: at 6:30 pm they stopped my magnesium Infusion and gave me the second dose of steroids for baby's lungs. I've still been having irregular contractions but they are only painful when I'm trying to move around. Plan now is to do a cervical check at 8 am and if there's been no cervical change I get loaded in an ambulance and head for Philly. If my cervix has changed I have to deliver here which no one is happy about, so FX for a stable cervix. They did start me on procardia orally so hopefully that will help as well.
