As I snuck in the QOTW above, this is my last 3rd tri check in.  I have 4 days until my c section and I just can't get over it.  It's soooo hard waiting these last few days.  I'm having a little less anxiety about kick counts since talking it over with my MFM nurse.  She kind of put my mind at ease, and I think I was checking WAY too often which is why I wasn't feeling them as much.  

Both babies passed the most recent NST yesterday.  I have another one on Monday and a growth scan to see how big they are.  Then I go to the hospital Tuesday morning at 7:30 for a 9:30 EST c section.   So hopeful and so nervous! 

QOTW:  My parents, father in law, and brother in laws are going to be in the waiting room during the c section.  My brother is coming to the hospital to visit later in the afternoon once it calms down.  I'm a little nervous because my parents and brother in laws want to see me before the c section but I think i'm going to be too much of  a nervous wreck for anyone to come hang out.  I'll see how i am doing that morning before I decide who to kick out.  I tried to explain to everyone that if the boys go to the NICU (which is possible because they will be 4 weeks early) they won't be able to see them so there's no point in hanging around.  In all honesty, I'd love a little alone time with my husband and my sons if possible before the craziness happens.  I did tell extended family and friends that i didn't want anyone visiting that first day.  Hopefully if the boys are doing ok then i'll allow visitors the other 3 days since I'll be in there from Tuesday to Saturday.  Ahhhh, so much to think about!

Hi everyone,

 I'm 37w3d! At my u/s Monday baby was estimated to be 5lb 8 oz which is 13th % so my OB was satisfied with growth and did not induce me! I am also off bed rest after 6 1/2 weeks!! As I mentioned in a separate post I had strong, painful contractions 2-3 min apart on 1/1 but after a couple hours they were not causing dilation so I was sent home. Then they stopped! So I am waiting to see what will happen now... I'm really excited to meet this baby but am trying to enjoy the end of my pregnancy as I know it may be my only one. 

QOTW: I think it will be just DH and I but both sets of grandparents and our siblings will probably visit at some point. The grandparents have been trying to get us to tell her name even though we keep saying its a secret so I hope people keep any and all rude comments about the name to themselves!!

we're going through same stuff with the names lol.  my mom tells everyone that will listen that she is the grandma and doesn't know the names yet and can they believe it.  lol

@jezebel57 you are sooo close! I am very bad at formatting on here or I would do the check in! I don't know how to make spaces on here! 33 weeks 5 days here, feeling good. Passed my first NST and will now go weekly. Only have two more progesterone shots (on the 17p shots for preventing ptl). My ass is so over these shots I can't begin to tell you. And having a baby shower next week! Very surreal. Qotw: me and my husband in delivery room, and probably tons of family soon after delivery. We have a big crazy family and there's no stopping them. I am nervous about learning to breast feed with a room full of people, but letting my husband kick them out if necessary lol!

I can't believe it's time already for so many mamas! Good luck, Jez! I'm 35 weeks today and all of a sudden this week I feel big and uncomfortable. I think my luck of looking small (which I'd foolishly been unhappy about) has come to an end. My belly button is about to pop and my skin feels as stretched as it can go. Plus I'm having soreness on the skin on my right top rib which I'm guessing means my bras are once again too tight. It was also hard to do prenatal yoga positions this week. My instructor kept giggling at the grunts and groans I'd make when trying to move into a pose! We have the intensive labor class at my hospital tomorrow (I missed the last one during a snowstorm a few weeks ago). Other than that, I'm trying to get everything in order for LO. If only I could get DH to stop procrastinating! He keeps promising to install the car seat and spray stain guard on the glider cushions, but has yet to do it! QOTW: I only want DH in L&D with me. I'm sure my mom and SF will be hanging around the waiting room, and she means well, but always gets in the way and ends up making me feel anxiety. I had a big fight with my family last weekend when I insisted that anyone wanting to hold LO gets TDAP booster. DH had to step in to defend me. My hospital apparently went on lockdown last year during flu season when the epidemic got out of hand, so we may tell people who want to visit us that they aren't allowed on premises. I hope my father doesn't try to visit... During his Thanksgiving visit he had a cold and didn't give us warning, then sneezed into his hand right as he held it out to shake DH goodbye. Ewww! SMH!

if you want to do the check ins, the only thing i do is go to the last check in, add in the new people by copying and pasting the list into a new discussion window lol.  i can't format either and you guys haven't complained so i figured copy and pasting works well lol.

1) i can't believe you are still doing yoga.  you are superwoman.  i make those grunts and groans just getting up from the couch.  

2) i am terrified about LO's getting sick, but our pediatrician said that only people who will continuously be around baby need the tdap.  i'm doubtful lol.  i'm freaking out about people being sick as well.  My mom is known for "i'm not sick, it's allergies" then will end up in the hospital with pneumonia because she wouldn't go in for antibiotics.  this terrifies me to no end!!!!!

37.2 weeks and counting down the days until baby girl is here! Had another appointment on Friday and actually lost a few lbs., but they said that is common and nothing to worry about. Tons of bh lately, but no idea if anything is actually going on. Doc still thinks it realistically could be any day, but at this point I've decided little girl is snuggled in tight and if we've made it this far w/out any more bleeds we're going to make it to the end and the scheduled c/s.

QOTW: Because we are still concerned about going early with the pp and having no family in town, my MIL is coming town today and staying until baby is born to help take care of DD in case we need some extra help. It will be just DH in the delivery/OR, however.

thanks so much!!!! it's really not bad at all. the hardest part for me was remembering when it was friday lol.  hence the late afternoon check ins when i realized what day it was.

37 weeks and counting down. I am so ready. I feel huge, cannot sleep at all and I am very tired already. It is freezing here so we are home a lot and that is hard. i have nst weekly and ob weekly. so far she is ok. I do have ultrasound in Monday. It seems like the time is not passing at all some days. 

Good luck to all! I am having my DH in the hospital and my mom is taking care of DD. We are planning to have just us the first day and then have my inlaws come down. We will see how I feel. I had a hard time recovering last time. 

That is all from me. Still protein in the urine, but high enough to worry.

I am 31 weeks and still feeling pretty good, which is quite shocking to me. Sometimes at the end of the day I feel like I'm about to pop and can't breathe or fit in another bite of food. It is time to pre register at the hospital and take a few classes. My shower is two weeks from today! QOTW: I don't have any family members bothering me or getting on my nerves. My husband is the only pain in the ass i can think of. I think it will just be us in the delivery room and my parents in the waiting room.
