How far along do you wait until you start looking for daycare?

Most 3 star facilities have a 3 month waiting list. I would start looking around 6 months. Thats when we started with our DD. But turns out, daycares completely freaked me out being a 1st time mom and luckily my  husband owns his own company and was able to act as Mr. Mom.
