Blanket in crib?

Our gal won't wear a sleep sack anymore. She gets tangled up a bit with her favorite crocheted blanket. For those of you with kids in crib, what kinds of blankets are you using? I feel bad when she wakes to just twisted up. Should I get duvet? Weighted blanket? TIA!

Have you tried the footed sleep sacks for early walkers. I got dd a fleece one on Amazon. She will not keep a blanket on and her room is the coldest in the house so this works great!

He has so many blankets! I usually leave a few hanging over the end of the bed, and every.single.time he pulls them all down in the bed with them.  He says one of them is "Chan-Chan's" (his uncle), one is "Pa's" and one is "PawPaw's" :) He usually ends up laying more on them then they are on him though.  I just try to cover him up before i go to sleep and keep warm pjs on him with warm socks.

I forgot they made that! (Unrelated) She got out of crib this morning, so I'm going to have to rethink things over here.

Maybe her crocheted blanket can just go alongside her, and wear footed blanket

Nat has three blankets she sleeps with. They've never posed a problem but I put her in fleece footie pj's to keep her warm.

This is us. She had had a pillow a couple of blankets and three it four stuffed animals in her crib for over a year now. Warm Jammie's are how we get through chilly nights.

Same here!  Allison has two blankets, a pillow and about 6 stuffed animals...we always do fleece footie pj's in the cold weather because there is no way she will keep a blanket on.

If it gets really cold (so tomorrow through Wednesday night) we put socks under it to keep her feet warm.  I'm even considering a onesie under it because her room is about 5-6 degrees colder than the rest of the house due to the insane wind that hits the house.

I always gave DD an A&A blanket and then a fleece baby blanket when she was in her crib, but she was terrible about covering herself up with them. She's been in a twin bed with regular sheets and a quilt for about 3 months now and she does great at keeping herself covered.

I normally cover DD with a comforter that came with her toddler bed set and a crocheted blanket, however, she normally never keeps them on. I always try to have her in warm pj's just in case. I also run a small room heater (not hot to the touch) in her room since it sometimes stays cool in there.
