hello! I thought you crazy people were overdue for an update on my adorable child. 

He is doing well! Still on oxygen but only at night, woohoo! He will probably go in for another sleep study in the next few weeks to see how he does without oxygen overnight. Developmentally he is kind of behind (okay, way behind) but he is progressing. He likes to pretend he can't do anything and then do four things at once so he'll get there! 

And he said his first word tonight!!!! Even though he's behind physically, cognitively he is right where he should be and he finally spoke to his people... the word was ball. Let us take a moment and consider the words of our mascot baby. He will be : a year old next month! WHY GOD. 

Little bit o' mush - it means so much to me that you all ask about Josh and care about him so much. I hate that I'm not here as often these days but I cannot tell you how amazing it is to get so much support for my little (big!) man.

Omg, he is so frickin' cute. I can't believe it has been almost a year. I wasn't super active at that point- just a lurker, but I always followed Josh's story. Take care. Hugs and kisses!!!

I reminded my H about you, he looked at the pictures. "Man, look at those lashes. He looks really great." You know in man words that means "he is so stinking adorable!" Soooo glad you guys are doing well! And, hooray for a little sister!

Glad he is doing good! Love seeing him all the time. He will catch up, don't worry! DS2 was full term and had to do speech therapy for almost 2 years because he refused to talk...of course now you can't get him to stop talking.

Haha, @tiffletons518, every time Daniel sees another June baby he's all "what a cute widdle biddy baby with a widdle biddy baby face." His man card may as well be in a hot pink frame with talking flowers on it.

I was deep in lurkerville when Joshua was born, but I remember the shock and my partner and I keeping a close watch on his progress whenever you would post. I am so so happy to see this beautiful boy here! He looks wonderful! Congratulations and well done. You've been through so much as a family and come through it with a beautiful baby boy. It really warms my heart to see these photos

I still remember the day you went into labor with that little chunk of cute. I am so thrilled he is doing so well! The video of him saying ball melted me right into a puddle.
