Pregnant after IF

Help! WWYD?

I just switched over to new insurance and the pharmacist says that they only allow me to fulfill ONE tube of Crinone at a time. Talk about ridiculous! The pharmacist faxed my RE yesterday a form that would authorize a full box prescription (as I had been) but they haven't responded. I left a VM on the nurse and appt line and haven't heard back. This is now 2 days without Crinone. I have two old boxes of Endometrin. Would you take the Endometrin until this is ironed out? It's all the same active ingredient right? And I took it during my first fresh cycle. Ugh, I'm getting very concerned and ticked off at the RE and insurance!

  • I would absolutely take the endometrin if you don't have any crinone! Please tell me you aren't missing your progesterone! Sorry you are dealing with this mess.

  • Definitely, definitely take the endometrin now, and then get in touch with someone at your RE's office ASAP. You don't want your progesterone levels to drop this early in pregnancy. And it's ridiculous the stupid hoops insurance makes us jump through (been there). Good luck!

Thanks for the advice ladies! I did take the endometrin and the nurse called back this morning to say I can just finish with endometrin so yay! I can avoid paying for the Crinone altogether. She wasnt worried about me missing 2 days since I'm 9w along. Whew! What a scare.
