I have 15 month old two girls and just found out I am pregnant so, assuming I make it full term this time, I will still come in just under the 3 under 3 mark and will have THREE kids in diapers.
I'll have 3 under 3 when the twins arrive (though DD will be almost 3). She's not PT'd and I'm not pushing her, though. Just gonna grin and bear it. Congratulations on your pg.
I'm there now! My girls are just over 2, plus 2 older kids.. It's insane, but doable. (My little guy is still in NICU since he was born early due to pPROM at 30w2d. He's going to be there for a while longer.. who knows. But I'm trying to stay positive.)
Everyone is just going nuts wondering why I'm gone a lot and even though the older ones know I've had the baby, it's been a strange adjustment to them because they haven't been able to see him yet due to NICU rules b/c of Flu and RSV season right now.
Just try to get a network of help to entertain your duo when you need a break, and you know that meals are a God send!
Congratulations!
Edited to add: We just finally managed to get our 5 yr old out of PUll ups at night. I'm guessing we won't try to start PT with the twins until after little guy gets home and we get our new normal going, whatever that will be.. no worries.
I'll be in the same situation! When my girls are born, which is in another 4 weeks my son will be turning 2 on 2/2. So I could even have 3 under 2! Ahh! I'll let you know how we do!
Here! I'm reversed though, my singleton is exactly 2 years and 2 weeks older than the girls. It is crazy, but doable. I actually have a harder time with the toddler than the babies (terrible twos are no joke! And he's super smart, has an engineering mind, so he gets into EVERYTHING). I do employ a babysitter about once a month on the weekend just so I can spend some 1:1 time with my son, or so I can go do certain kinds of shopping, get a facial, a pedicure, whatever. (DH works retail... hate it!). But I regularly take them all grocery shopping and to Target with me. We did PT DS from July to September, so he's only in diapers now for sleeping. We're going to try and stop those within the month though.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
The girls will be maybe 2 weeks shy of 2 when this (hopefully) singleton is born. I just keep thinking about all of the logistics. I got really lucky with the girls - they're pretty amazing. A bit afraid of what's to come!

Not wanting to post hijack but @lucyricardo3, you had your LO?! I know I've been Mia lately but holy smokes that went fast!!! Sending LOTS of t&p your way for your little one coming home soon!! I can't believe I missed all that!
OP: no advice but I have a friend who had 3 under 2 (singleton after multiples) and she said it was crazy but the singleton was a breeze after having 2. You'll do great--congrats!!!
I have a 5 year old, 18 month old twins and am due with baby 4 in 9 weeks. I will also have 3 in diapers. It's going to be crazy and I have my days where I am scared!
You will survive but from hearsay it will be nuts for a year or two. If things go properly, and no more stupid losses, I will have 26 mo old twins and a singleton. I am looking forward to things calming down after already I also have two older kids but they are old enough to still be work but they pee and poop on their own at least. I cloth diaper which will help on cost at least!

Three under three here too, and all still in diapers. If you dealt with the infant craziness of twins already, a singleton is probably going to feel like a walk in the park! Very often the 2.5 year old is the hardest part, and he knows he can test limits like crazy whenever I sit down with nursing babies. But we are surviving, and you will too!

With my first two, I always said the second baby, barring any issues, is actually pretty easy, it was having the 3yo standing on the table trying to stick a fork in the chandelier while I nursed the baby that was hard. Using the "no big deal, calm, sweet mommy voice" to try to get him down. A single baby isn't really much work at all, they just sleep and if not, you hold it. Easy.

We are the reverse right now ... our twins are 7 weeks, DS1 is 20 months. I am probably biased but my guess is that having a singleton after twins will be easier! Although yes, it is a LOT of diapers, hehe!
Soon to be 3 under 2 here! My girls will be 25 months when baby #3 is born in August. I'm hoping 1 is "a walk in the park" like others have mentioned. But who knows how the girls will tolerate the terrible 2's. We're hoping to start potty training as soon as summer starts to get the ball rolling. 3 in diapers seems overwhelming! I tell people one of the hardest thing with twins is all the diapers and poop! It's never ending.
No advice, but I'll be having 3u2 and I'm a bit freaked! You'll survive, we all do somehow. I may get a nanny or something just to help out with the twins and whatnot. Congrats on your pregnancy though!
