False labor- so confusing!!

So I am 37w2d now and soo incredibly happy to be full term since my early labor scare and bed rest at 30 weeks. I have always had a ton of contractions but more recently have been having them 5-10 minutes apart but not painful. So last night I suddenly started having painful contractions 2-3 minutes apart and wondered if I was going to have this baby on my couch! I called and was told to wait 40 min or so and then go to L&D. When I got there I was still having very frequent contractions but the pain wasn't terrible and was only dilated to 2.5 cm. they had me walk around for 2 hours and come back to be checked. Contractions continued to be frequent and more painful but I was still at a 2.5 so they sent me home! I did not think I would be able to sleep but shockingly I could and this morning I feel fine! Just the typical Braxton hicks contractions. I'm so confused!! Anyone know of people that had this and soon went into labor? I had DH work from home and now I feel silly as I'm fine! I am ready to meet this baby!

I am in the same boat as you. I have no advice, but I can relate. I keep feeling contractions and think is this it, but then they stop. I did not go into labor with my dd, so this is all new to me. 

I am 37 weeks too and I hope I go into labor soon. It is confusing to me as well.

Id be so confused too! I hope when it happens, you know it and everything goes just as you hope. GL!

Ugh, sorry you seem to be in labor limbo. Wish I had a similar experience for you. I can say I started BH at 18 weeks. Real contractions effing hurt bad. They took my break away, I couldn't talk, and had to be sitting. So uncomfortable.
