The So'Unique post got me thinking...what was the name of the first baby born in 2014 in your city/state/province/area? Most local papers have a little article on them. My city's New Year baby was named Rikvan...parents are Indian and the name means 'jubilant with praise' in Sanskrit. Eta: It was a little boy. No middle name was given.

For Toronto area, there were twins in 2013 & 2014 as well: Gabriela and Sophia. But right at midnight James John Kennady and Jenna were born to different moms. As long as Kennady is the LN, we're doing pretty well.

Right? As I was waiting for the page to load I kept thinking, 'please don't let Naythyn be a girl!' I guess in this case the Ys make it more specyal.
