I have a 8.5 month old DS who is EBF. For his first 10 weeks I was an EP with a massive oversupply so I started donating to a friend who adopted a little boy. She is now weaning him to wcm. When I switched to EBF I kept pumping in the morning after DS first feed and before I went to bed for milk to donate. Yes I know this continued my oversupply problem but it was for a good cause:) So now that I don't have a specific need to donate I'd like to start parting ways with my pump (when I am not working). Between my morning and night pumping sessions I get about 15-20 oz. DS takes 12-15 oz per day at daycare which I pump about 12-14 oz per day at work. Even with donating, I have a deep freeze full of about 1000 oz so I can use that as needed. My question is how do I go about dropping my am and pm pumping? I clearly don't need the extra milk and want that time I use pumping to spend with my family (and sleep

Do you recommend shortening each if them slowly or work on cutting one out and then the other? I pump twice at work and hope to have the am and pm pumps done by a year so I can then drop to just one pump at work but cont to EBF am and pm and weekends until DS wants to quit. If it helps, DS sleeps 10-12 hours a night without waking to feed. my PM pump is before I go to bed which allows me 8 hours til he wakes up. My AM pump is after he wakes up and feeds. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
