HAAALP! Step by Step Ticker Instructions For Dummies Please!!

Ladies,

How in God's name do you add a mother effin ticker to your profile as your signature or whatever?!! Omg, this is driving me absolutely nuts!! 

This is what I've tried so far. I CREATE my ticker, COPY the code, go to Account Options, PASTE in the Signature Code Box, Click Show Source & then SAVE. Annnnd......DOH!! Now all you see beneath any of my posts is the stupid code itself. FML. Can anybody tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong??!!!!

I see your ticker... But I don't see a member of 1D or any other pleasant looking shirtless man, excluding Michael Bolton.... He's not allowed.

Well at least you can copy paste. I only have this cruddy tablet to post with, and it won't give me a copy or paste option. Boo. No ticker for me.
