Looking for some friends...

I moved from Howell/Fowlerville area to Wixom in July '08 and don't know anyone around here. I have a soon-to-be three year old son and am about 8-weeks pregnant. I have no one to talk to really... My S.O. may not be my S.O. any longer (long story). I guess I'm just here to meet some really nice women around my age. I need some woman-power in my life. Mine has dwindled down to nothing.

 Can you tell I'm depressed today? LOL

    I've jointed a group on Raisingthem.com.  The group is: Baby/Toddler Play Date Novi, Farmington, Northville, Livonia, West Bloomfield and Walled lake area.  

    I know it doesn't say Wixom, but you are close to these areas.  Check us out!

    I grew up in Wixom, I am sorry, but I moved to canton.

    I am in the Wixom area. I know that the library has quite a few story times geared towards different ages, I haven't gone to any since I am at work during the day.  I would also check out what is offered at the community center, I think they have a few different types of groups. A few other things I have looked into in the area is Parent/Child swim lessons through Walled Lake Schools.

    Hi, Raaain!  I live in Novi, which is the next town over from Wixom.  I work from home so I'm around a lot.  We can hook up for lunch or something!

    Lady-friends are awesome, and I totally understand what it's like to move away from the people you know: I moved here to Novi in September, and everyone I know is in Ann Arbor.  It's not THAT far... but it's far enough to be inconvenient.  ^_^

    I don't have any kids yet (the first Bun is baking away!), but I'd love to meet you and your son.
