My gma got me an ice cream attachment for my kitchen aid and I just made my first caramel ice cream! Oh man, as if I didn't have enough of an ice cream addiction already!

I've made a dairy free mint chocolate chip and an making a cherry chocolate chip tonight. This is the basic recipe I use, then add to my taste.

I tried my ice cream maker last summer for the first time, but the stuff never hardened. I finally realized that I used kosher salt instead of rock salt. Who knew it could make such an awful difference?? (Okay, probably everyone except me)
