Back to work!!

I go back to work tomorrow after being off since May. I'm so grateful for the time I've had with LO and enjoyed every second of it, but I'm really depressed about going back. My mom will be watching LO and she lives really close to my school, so I can even go see him at lunch, so I know I shouldn't be complaining.  I just get myself super stressed out at work, and I'm hoping since having my son, it will help me put things into perspective.  Any words of encouragement would be great!! Since I'll be at school, I won't be able to check in with you guys as much anymore. Thanks for keeping me entertained and providing me with invaluable information and advice these past few months!!

 And FX for a snow day on Friday!!

As a fellow teacher, I feel you. I went back in October. Just remember, you're almost halfway finished already.

It does get easier, I promise! I was so depressed too. I cried for days leading up to going back to work! And for me, it defiantly put things into perspective and I do not get worked up about things at work like I used to. Good luck!

Good luck!! I'm sure I'm echoing someone when I say it does get easier eventually. I cried like a baby when I left DD for my first day back to work. But a few weeks in and we all had our routine down and it got so much easier. Hoping for that snow day here too!

I just got home. I'm pretty tired, but I survived. There's really no time to feel sad when you're with a room full of kids. I ran to my mom's at lunch to see LO, which helped too.

Snow day tomorrow, so I think today was a nice way to ease back into it.
