Gun question

So we're strongly considering Samuel Henry for DS #2. My dad insists that Sam Henry is a kind of gun, and that kids will tease him about it. Numerous Google searches show me nothing. Have you heard of this term for a gun?

That's what I thought too lol. My parents and husband are NRA members and have gun/hunting magazines around and I haven't heard of that before.

We're having a Samuel, also, so I love the name! Never heard of the Samuel Henry gun reference though. I know we'll be getting beer comments with our two boys, but I'm not going to let that change our name choice or bother us. Oh well - at least it's a good/popular beer

There is a company called Henry that makes rifles but I would never associate that with his name. I love it! Dont change it at all!

There's a Samuel Colt that invented the Colt revolver & was big in gun manufacturing. Maybe your dad is just confused? I like Samuel Henry!
