Feeling weird :-/

Does anybody else feel as tho their baby is about to pop out their lady bits? Lol. Im getting lots of pressure wen baby moves on my bladder/bottom bit which makes me feel as though i need to cross my legs. Im 23wks tomorrow. Also im stil getting the on and off pain on my right hand side which im guessing is rlp

Re: Feeling weird :-/

  • That would make me call my midwife.

When baby dances on my bladder or kicks my cervix, I don't have any pressure-like feeling. When you say on and off again pain, is it in waves? Or is it just a sharp pain here and there with no discernible pattern?

I've had the same problem since last weekend. My LO is WAY down low. I can feel her moving in my groin area and feel the kicks there. I also have sharp pains on the right. From my google searching it seems normal but I'm gonna bring it up at my Thursday appointment.
  • I think feeling lots of pressure down there is worth a call. I'd be worried that I'm dilating.

  • When she kicks my cervix, it feels like a little flick, no pain, just a light touch. The fact that you are having pressure is what sounds concerning.

I'm 5'7" but have a long torso. Don't get me wrong, if it concerns OP then call! If my sharp pains had not subsided the day they were the worst I was going to call but rest helped.
  • Ive just rang my midwife and shes said that its most probably baby sitting on a nerve and my uterus is stil stretching. The pressure down there is normal as baby is most probably sitting low and told me too expect it to get more frequant as baby grows bigger....great lol
  • I had this last week. Exactly the same I called my ob he said it was totally normal. Just stretching and putting pressure on nerves. From time to time I get these quick sharp pains up in my vagina which he said was also normal. So don't be freaked if you get that too :)
