Unlatching woes

I post a couple days ago about a possible supply dip bc DD was screaming everytime she pulled off/finished. Taking in your super helpful replies I've (sort of) decided it's not a supply issue, mostly bc after we calm her down, she's satisfied for 2-2.5 hours, which was her normal hungry time before this started. But still she screams but won't relatch when she is done. I suspect it's a burping problem but getting her to burp sucks bc she's so upset. Any ideas on how I can calm her down when she's done? Or why she's so upset about finishing? Or just tell me to hang in there it's just a phase?

I'll be watching. Unless she is super tired, my LO does the same thing.

Have you tried giving her a dose of gas drops before she nurses? If I give them to my LO, he typically lets out a big burp while nursing. So then I don't have to always burp when he's done. Might be worth a try.

This has stopped for us (3.5 months) now. It could just be a growth spurt. Of course now that I have said it aloud, tomorrow she will cry and pull off again.
