I got these compression socks because we went on a bunch of long airplane rides last month. I haven't worn them otherwise, but they felt great during a day of travel. I'll definitely start wearing them more if I start swelling up.
I have a couple pairs of compression hose that my ILs "borrowed" for me from the hospital where they work to use when flying like the PP. There's some pretty cute compression sock options on Amazon, though. I don't wear mine except for flying longer distances, because I find them uncomfortable as hell. But if you see my post about cankles, I definitely need them in a plane.
ETA: These are the ones I was going to get if I hadn't gotten the hose for free. Gotta love free hose.
Sorry this originally just posted the link. My Explorer was acting up. Anyway, I love these socks. I wear them for work, and not only are they comfortable, they add extra warmth for these freezing temperatures!
