2009 goals!

My 2009 goal is to lose 25 lbs in the next 17 weeks before my birthday.  Of course, if I don't get pregnant before then!  I plan to work out 2 of every 8 days (or more, but H works 4 on, 4 off.  I think this is being realistic), and eat smaller portions.

What are your goals of 2009?

Re: 2009 goals!

  • Have this baby! Survive my sister's wedding. Oh, and help DH find a job before we really tear eachother apart. Of course, it looks like only 1 & 2 are likely.

  • 1. hump Donnie

    2. Lose 50lbs (at least)

    3. hump Donnie

Ok, really, my serious ones -- I would like to lose at least 50lbs.  I'm actually hoping to lose 50lbs by 07/25 (which is my 33rd birthday).  It's less than 10 pounds a month which should be doable if I really focus.

I do want to meet Donnie.  And plan to do my best to get 5* tickets for the summer tour (if they sell them) so that I can meet him.

From a family perspective --- I want to get us in to Church more often (at least twice a month).  I want to give the kids more responsibilities (so they have the opportunity to feel good about themselves) and less yelling.

  • Jodi-

10 lbs a month?!  I thought that my 6 lbs a month would be tough!  Best of Luck!

  • Oops, not sure what just happened! Ok, my goals for 2009...

Control portions of what I eat, eat more healthy.

Keep up my workout routine (even when it's freezing and/or raining)

Take more time for myself! It's gonna be hard w/4 kids, but I need to!

Spend more time with the kids outside:)

  • Lose the 15 pounds I've kept on since Allison was born.  I'd like to lose 15 more for a total of 30 by the summer.
  • 2lbs/week = 8lbs/month

Because I have SO much to lose, I think I should be on the high end of that anyway.  And really, 50lbs by 07/25 works out to be (roughly) 7.1lbs/month. :)

  • 1. Exercise. Not so much lose weight but I don't exercise enough.

    2. Get pregnant. We've been working on that for a few months now.

    3. Get organized. I'm very organized at work but at home forget it. My desk is in a constant state of disaster with bills, coupons, and other crap.

    4. Get out of debt.  We've been working on that too but I somehow mangage to screw things up because I'm not organized.

I don't like to make resolutions but I really do need to make changes in my life if I expect things to go well this year.

  • Best of Luck Jodi!  I lack on the willpower to lose weight quickly.  If I could work out daily w/o two kids in the way.... maybe.  Oh, and with the help of a chef!
  • I want to lose some weight before April 25, as I have a wedding to go to and want to look fabulous.

I want to make a better effort to cook at home and not eat out so much.

  • My ONLY source of willpower right now is that I really do want to meet Donnie this year -- and I do NOT want to look like the fat, mom hag that I am currently.

I WILL be hot when I meet him.   For no other reason than I will not have my one and only meeting with Donnie effin' Wahlberg be "uncomfortable" for me b/c of the way I look. That variable will be ELIMINATED!

  • 1. Step away from the junk food and lose 10 lbs.

    2. Read more

    3. Try to enjoy the moment more, have a more positive outlook

    4. Take more pictures/videos

    5. Have more sex with DH -he was really neglected in 08!

  • 1.  Have healthy baby & not weigh more at it's birth than I did w/ Win & Tess

    2. Loose baby weight & then 30lbs.

    3. Finish my professional exams

    4. Keep the house cleaner

    5. Take care of myself better

  • 1. Get up earlier in the mornings so it's not a mad rush out of here, late for daycare, hair still half wet, etc.

    2. Have more patience with DD.

Oh, and I'm hoping for a BFP later in the year, but that's not really a 'goal'.

  • DH would love if I make it a goal to have more sex too!  :o)

you and I are going together, girl!  I'm not lying - I will totally stalk Donnie with you!

    OK, here is MY answer:

    1. tone up - I lost my weight last year through better diet and exercise, but I want to tone the not so attractive parts. also need to stay on track with diet and exercise.

    2. learn to cook more - I plan to master the slow cooker in the first few months of the year, since I mastered skillet meals-in-a-bag already ;P  hehe

    3. get and stay organized - we got off to a good start today by getting thru the MOUNDS of paper in our room.  Would like to finish getting thru the house by the end of January, in time for DH to start his new job.

    4. be more patient with DD

    5. be more of a teacher to DD

    6. and ...ummmm...hump Donnie :)
