Convertable Carseat

I can't decide which car seat to get my LO.  I'm trying to decide between the Graco MySize 70 and the Chicco Nextfit. I've been on Car Seats for the Littles and my head is still spinning.  Any suggestions?

Re: Convertable Carseat

  • Have you gone to a store and laid hands on them?  Sometimes you can only decide by touching and seeing them in person.  They're both supposed to be great seats.  We have the Size4Me but haven't installed it yet :)

  • I chose the size4me because if the harness needs replacing on the chicco you have to replace the whole seat.

  • I have the Nextfit and really like it.  We tried a Graco (sorry, I don't remember which one) in my car and it didn't fit well.
  • Thanks ladies!  I think I'll go with the Nextfit.   Now I just need to wait for a 20% BRU coupon.

Just an FYI but this is true of your Size4Me as well.

Are you sure? I know of a few people who had the issues with it tightening and they said graco sent them a new harness...

Graco would have sent them an entirely new seat because the Size4Me/Headwise/MySize don't have replaceable harnesses.  I actually confirmed this on a tech site to make sure I hadn't misunderstood because I have this seat as well :)

  • We just bought our second Nextfit through Albee baby. We have found decent discounts on that site. I heard the new Nextfits have removable shoulder pads and actually do not need to be used if they cause a problem with rubbing, etc.
