Beta #1 was yesterday 12/30 @ 175- waiting on beta #2 which I'm now told will be 1/3 as the RE wants either 2 or 4 days between draws. Trying hard not to completely freak out between now and then!

I'm triggering tonight for IUI 4.1 on Thursday. We are in the process of consulting with a few other REs to come up with a new plan for IVF #3.

QOTW: No resolutions... Just trying to gut through the tough times.

IUI 2 was a bfn. We are onto IUI#3. The dr is changing things up. I had been doing 75ius of follistim for 5-6 days. I would get one good follie and 2 maybes, but my E2 was way high each time. So now we are doing 75 for 2 days, then dropping it down to 50. The goal is to keep my E2 down so we can have a little extra time to get those maybes to mature. Let's hope this works! And, DH's sample really improved the second IUI (8 mil motile, then 16 mil)... He said he hopes it's not a fluke.

Congrats to the recent BFPs and big hugs to everyone else! I'm in a frustrating limbo-state regarding iui#2....I mean, almost certainly it's a bfn (I tested yesterday at 14dpiui and today at 15dpiui, both bfn. The annoying part is, my Re insists on a negative blood test before stopping progesterone and their office is closed until the 6th...I had to go somewhere else today for the blood draw (a day late because I was out of the country yesterday) and of course they didn't have same-day results like my regular clinic, so now I wait for the results until Thursday because they are closed tomorrow for New Year's Day! Ugggh, I'm sure a lot of you can relate to the feeling of just wanting AF to start already (if its a bfn) but the progesterone is likely keeping AF away...Officially I guess I'm still in the 2ww for now. QOTW: My resolution is to be more active this year...and drink more water!

WARNING - *BFP mentioned* - after peeling on no less than 5 HPTs while enduring a grueling wait for beta #1, it came back as 156 (14/15 dpiui). I'm in disbelief and won't sleep well or believe this is real until we cross the many hurdles to come (2nd beta, 1st/2nd ultrasounds, etc...) Trying to just be in this present moment and remember "we have to be here to get there." Hoping that everyone else waiting on results is equally blessed!

I am 11dpiui (I see a couple of us are im the same spot!). Met with the RE yesterday - if this cycle is a bust then I am starting Gonal-F next cycle. Have had really light spotting the last couple of days so I'm thinking injectables it is! My only concern is ordering the new meds and them getting here in time. If I start my period tonight they might not get here in time with New years day being tomorrow but I dont really want to order them today and pay for them if this cycle somehow worked! IF problems ha.

10dpiui, 9dpo still haven't peed on anything. I've been temping since 5dpo just to kinda give me an idea of whether or not I should even bother testing on beta day; slight dip today so hopefully it goes back up tomorrow. 3 days til beta. 

QOTW: I don't make resolutions anymore, never stick to them. I just plan on focusing on my health this year.

Congrats to the BFPs, Im glad we are finally seeing some. Hugs to those that need them too.

I am now in the 2WW. Had IUI #3 yesterday. I'll test on 1/13 because this time around I am being put on progesterone.

No resolution but lots to look forward to. I started a new role today and everyone was soo nice. It seems like its going to be way lower stress so yay! I also get to see my MIL when she comes to run the marathon in a few weeks and see my mom in May (haven't seen her since our wedding May 2012).

Ooh I would love to be added!

1. I am just starting my cycle (today actually )and will be starting IUI this month.

2. This is IUI #1. Did Clomid with timed intercourse last month but no luck.

3. Test day unknown. Have my CD3 blood work on Friday.

QOTW: I am focusing on getting back into healthy eating habits. Kicking the sugar and doing Whole30. Also, weight loss. I gained a bunch in the past year (thyroid issues) and dying to get it off. So, until I'm preggers I'll be losing weight like a fiend (but mostly just being healthy)

I'm 13dpiui - I've been experiencing some symptoms, but it could easily be PMS. Being that I hardly ever get a "natural" period I'm not sure how my body would respond. I've had mild dull cramping for the past few days and a few twinges yesterday and some fatigue. I've had really loose stool the past 3 days (sorry TMI) and last night I had night sweats along with weird dreams. I haven't been temping regularly this month but I took my bbt this AM and it was about .5 degrees higher then normal post O temps. I POAS stick today, even though it's too early, it was a BFN. Beta test is January 3rd unless AF comes before. I'm just trying not to loose my sanity over the next few days. New Years Resolution is to cut back on the instagraming and actually pull out my digital slr to take pictures, learn how to use it off auto mode and play with photos on Photoshop more! Happy New Year Everyone!

Hey everyone!!  I am FINALLY in my 2ww from my 'break' cycle.  Didn't O til CD24 without meds, so that was frustrating.  We had decent timing for BD'ing, so I'll keep my FX for a miracle!

I am now trying to decide how I want to go forward after my break.  I will probably post separately about this to get some feedback, but I'm trying to decide if I want to try TI with meds for at least a month or two before heading back to IUI's.  DH's SA's have come back good, and I've check out with no real serious issues.  I believe the meds put me in a good place follie and O - wise, so I'm curious how different my success rates would be between TI and IUI.  Will most likely talk to RE about it at my next appt.

QOTW:  No real serious resolutions, although I would like to get myself back to the gym a few days a week at least, and I am going to work really hard to relax and stop worrying so much.  I am a BIG worrier, with anything really, but with IF it has made me crazy.  I want to work on that!

Still no AF yet. If she doesn't show by Monday, I have blood work and will start progesterone to jump start my cycle.

QOTW: I read this really great post about how your resolution should be focused on one thing and should only be two words; be ________. So I've decided mine is to be patient- I lack in that area in many facets of my life lol .

Happy New Year!!!!


1. Where are you at in the IUI process? We are in the 2ww... and it is brutal.  I triggered last Thursday and had the IUI on Friday, then we did TI for the following days.  I started my edometrin yesterday.  I am very hopeful... maybe too much actually.  So far the 'signs' are no different that the first IUI but I am more relaxed, confident, and positive.

2. Which IUI are you on? #2 - we are very hopeful for 2014!

3. Test/Beta day? late... I thought they would have done it on Friday, Jan 10th but they scheduled it for Monday, Jan 13th... killer! I think I will POAS starting Monday or Tuesday of next week.

I guess I'm in the TWW...my doc cancelled my IUI but called late last night (6pm!) and said "never mind, go ahead and trigger and do TI just so this cycle isn't a total waste." So I triggered and now we wait... Beta day is 1/17! 

My resolution is to be more patient and less judgmental.

Waiting on AF so we can go for IUI #4. I don't believe in resolutions but will continue my efforts to live healthier, including starting each day with a green smoothie.

@ky29, has your doc considered using Cetrotide or Ganirelix in addition to the Follistim? You use the Follistim in the same way, and towards the end of stimming, you take a few doses of Cetrotide or Ganirelix to suppress ovulation. That way, the follies can grow for a few days longer while juicing up with more Follistim to mature them a bit more. Just a thought!

BFN here, CD1 today. Waiting to hear back from my RE tomorrow with our plan for the next IUI.

Congrats to the BFP's.  My IUI for Dec. was a BFN, currently on a break waiting to change insurance providers. Really hoping I'll get better results with Providence than Kaiser. Should have done it ages ago. Lessons learned. But now I am starting all over *groan*. No New Years resolution for me, I feel like it is just setting myself up for failure. Fx for all of us getting BFP's in the new year!!!

On my 5th night of the increased Clomid dose.  I have an u/s appt Friday to see if I'm responding better.  With the impending snowstorm, I'm not sure if that appt is going to happen, though...

Hello all! I am new to the site but I'm currently waiting to do IUI #5 (my first unmediated one) on 1/4? I think I will be triggering tomorrow night

I have no idea why my info isn't coming up as my sig but here it is:

Me (34)  no issues.

DH (37) MFI.

TTC 14 months,

Dx MFI after 8 months of TTC.

HSG normal, ultrasound and labs on me all normal. 

5 months of clomid 50mg, 4 with IUI and Pregnyl (4.8-8 mil good ones after wash) = all BFN,

1 month of clomid 50mg (3-7) followed by Follistim 75mg (7-11) , no trigger+ IUI = BFN 

DH saw urologist and is taking meds to help but they take at least 3 months to work,

Deciding what to do next ...

Waiting for my follie scan on Mon. 1/6 and hopefully they're nice and big and there's a few of them so I can trigger on Tue. or Wed. for IUI #2!

Update: IUI#2 is officially a bust, as expected. I am benched for at least one month as my Re office is closed until Jan6. He only recommended 2 iui's for us so I guess we have to go in for a wtf appt to discuss next steps, which I have a feeling are moving on to IVF, likely not until summer when i am off work (teacher) and we can save the money...uggh!

IUI #5 was a bust.  We have decided to move on to IVF.

I didn't really make any resolutions this year other than do whatever is in my power to have a baby:)

I'm so sorry to hear, but I pray that IVF gives you the results you are looking for!! We are looking at that in a few months if IUIs don't take... so I'll be looking to you for advice!

So, had my CD3 blood work and IV ultrasound this morning. Everything looks quiet so they'll be starting me on Clomid and I'll be going in to check my ovulation soon. Doing Clomid and the Ovidrel shot, then IUI#1 commences!

Do you have a New Year’s Resolution?

Yes I am no longer making a coffee run before work. Everyday at $3.07 for a coffee I planned on having money put in to a savings account each week for a year. It will be a nice little pay off to start 2015

Little Update:

Testing was changed from 1/3 to 1/6 because of a snowstorm

But pretty sure this IUI was a bust since I have had worsening cramping since Tuesday and had heavy spotting last night

Congrats to all the recent BFP's . My wish for 2014 is that everyone on here will get a BFP I know in my heart that 2014 will be everyone's year. and I hope that everyone enjoyed the holiday's I know how extremely hard it is for everyone because it was extremely hard for my wish for everyone is that they find happiness in the new year, and I'm hoping that I'm cyst free for my next cd1 so I can start IUI#3. I also wanted to thank everyone for their support over these past few months.

Hi ladies, I am hoping to get to do an IUI this month if my right ovary cooperates so I would like to join this check-in.

1. Where are you at in the IUI process? (2WW, meds, break, etc.)

I had a CD2 ultrasound today and I start Clomid tomorrow, next ultrasound on the 13th.

2. Which IUI are you on?

This will be IUI #1, I only had follies on the left last cycle so we got canceled

3. Test/Beta day? TBD

QOTW: I am boring and unoriginal so my resolution is just to exercise more and lose weight. 8-| Last year I read 'The Happiness Project' and followed it for a few months... I am considering doing that again and just starting a little late.

I am still on a break. I think i'm on CD38 and no sign of AF. I'll wait another week or two and visit the RE for a provera rx if needed. 

My resolution is to be more positive- this is my resolution every year so maybe this time I'll actually stick to it.
