@2MamazinSeattle Thank you!!! It has certainly been an interesting ride. And I am so excited for you and all of the other BFP's lately. I don't think I will ever stop lurking here just to keep tabs on everyone .

Update: We have had 2 really good NST's in a row where he was reactive and cooperative. Yesterday was especially good and very quick. We also have an eviction date--induction scheduled for Jan 8th if he doesn't come prior. We are still hoping he makes an appearance without having to be induced, but with all of the NST  issues and my BP problems, it is safest to just get him out at 39 weeks--and we are sooooo ready to meet this little guy. I am already dilated to 3 and almost completely thinned out (have been for a week) but so far, nothing but the teaser braxton hicks. 

QOTD: DH and I are going to chill out tonight and watch Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin and drink my "sparkling grape juice" to celebrate . Normally, we have to work late on NYE, so it will be nice to actually have some time together.

@jms1374 glad the NSTs have been better and LO has his eviction date! I hope he comes on his own, or that the less intense induction methods work for you!

AFM, we had our second u/s yesterday and all was looking good! Baby measured 6w5d and hb was 120 - spot on. This was our RE release appointment since I already saw the MFM last week to get started on Lovenox at 6w1d. Nice to see growth and get to hug the crap out of our RE!  Friday I have another MFM appointment to check my platelets due to the Lovenox and do a viability u/s (I hate that term btw - I prefer 'growth scan" or something that doesn't imply impending death every time, geez!). J can't go with me so praying all is well. Then another scan/blood test on 1/15, and NT scan on 1/31. The MFM experience is so different! They take everything SO seriously, but I'm loving that.

I feel so much less connected to this baby than last year - but hopefully he/she understands. That said, we used young donors, had no chromosomal issues last baby, and I'm taking Lovenox to prevent what happened last time. In theory, now that we have a hb and growth, I should feel more confident. But, I just....don't. However, I may add a ticker here soon! That is a step.

QOTW: A friend of ours is having a very mellow gathering tonight and she has a great view of the Space Needle for the fireworks they shoot off it. Assuming we make it to midnight, that should be fun. We are planning a nap beforehand. Tomorrow I'm making pork'n'sauerkraut (my tradition) and black-eyed peas + collards (J's tradition, she's from the south) for good luck. Please let 2014 be uber lucky! Happy New Year everyone!!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2014 brings us all good news and/or strong healthy babies.

Update: all my blood work has now come back negative so they just don't know why I'm not getting or staying pregnant now. It's hard to believe that it could just be bad luck. I've requested that we move ahead with another cycle and hope to get a calendar after the first of the year.

QOTW: We are going to our friends' house for their annual get-together, so that's our tradition. It's the same every year but I guess as we've all gotten older it's gotten considerably tamer. I didn't go last year as I thought I was pregnant but was actually in the midst of a m/c. At first I didn't want to go tonight but figured I didn't want to sit home and feel sorry for myself, so I am making myself go! Even if we only stay for a little bit at least we're showing up. In 2014 I resolve to be happier, no matter the situation. Even if there's another BFN or m/c I don't want to let it or the sadness take over. Accept it and move on I guess.

(((hugs))) @ceemonkey - i know how hard it is. i can't even get on the out with the crappy old, in with  the promising new year bandwagon because I have said that the last two nye and each year has gotten progressively worse.

congrats to the great news on the board.

we are waiting for the attorneys to finish with our contracts, otherwise twiddling our thumbs on the ttc front.

NYE - bil, sil, and niece (10 yo) are en route. our niece is going to stay with us by herself until Sunday. gotta love semester break!

I've had a bit of morning sickness, but not too bad. The beans looked good at yesterday's u/s. Oh, my EDD is 8/15. Tonight I'll be taking it easy since I acquired the flu overnight. I've stayed home by myself all week so the one time I went out, to the grocery store, must've been when I caught it. Unless DH brought it home from work and just hasn't gotten sick yet.

Hey everybody!  So happy to see the good news and progressing pregnancies, and of course my thoughts with those who continue to endure disappointment. 

Not much news here, except that I have decided to donate again, although work shenanigans are going to delay it a couple months.  As for NYE, I also get dragged into doing something but I hate celebrating because it is my deceased little brother's birthday.  He would be 21 this year.  This year I finally said no, and we are treating it like another day, which is what I want.  I don't need to visit his grave, but partying is just too much.

@ArgyleBride:  Hooray for donating again!!  Thank you for donating.  ((Hugs)) I know all about celebrating birthday's for loved ones who have passed away.  My parents celebrated  my Older brother's birthday for years.  My family still goes to the grave every Christmas Eve, about 5 years ago I stopped going, to be honest I do not regret it. He is in  my heart I do not need to go the the grave to remember him. 

AFM: I have my official calendar  Jan. 24th-Donor ER, Jan 29th-PGD biopsy of embryos and then freeze, sometime between Jan 29th and Feb 10th PGD results, and Feb. 11th-FET!!

QOTW:  We have been invited to three parties, however DH is sick, so we may stay in tonight.  No traditions and as of right now I do not have any resolutions.

Hi everyone!!

I'm hanging in there.  I have my NT scan on Monday.  Haven't seen the baby since 8w3d (I'm 11w4d today, for those on mobile Bump).  I feel almost totally normal so as usual I'm terrified of a m/mc.  If the NT scan looks fine I think I'll calm down, though.

I didn't get enough sleep last night (cross-country flight that got in late, cat that was starved for affection) so I'm not going anywhere for NYE.  A friend is having a party, and I told DH I wouldn't be annoyed if he wants to go.  I hope he stays in with me, though!

Not much going on here. Just waiting for NT scan on 1/17. It feels like such a long wait since I had 4 scans over the past 3 weeks and then nothing for 3 weeks. NYE plans: We are headed to a small party that friends have every year. I'm hoping and trying my best to make it until midnight.

AFM : kinda stressin.... Depot lupron shot is this thurs and it didn't arrive today. It better get here thurs so I can stay on track...I'm nervous!
Also still on BCP and my body has been spotting all of a sudden it wants a period NOW! Great. And having my intralipid infusion sat. Things are happening!!! Yay
Qotw: I'm going to keep a 2014 jar and write things on paper of good and bad and all our memories of the year so we can reflect next New Year's Eve!!! Happy New Years all!

Really happy for all the ladies with good news!

If you're in a tough place right now, my thoughts are with you-

Just a quick check in for me this week, as the holidays have been chaotic. As I expected, they were especially hard this year and I am so happy they are over.

I got my RPL results and I've tested positive for 2 copies of the MTHFR mutation but have normal homocysteine levels. Sounds like treatment will be high folic acid. I doubt this has been causing our losses, but it is significant enough to treat.
Anyone have any insight on this?

Our follow up is 1/6. I just want to get it over with already... I'm so tired of all of this.

:::waves::: hello! Sorry been MIA, things have settled down and just working on getting focused on our next plan. Also of course the holidays were shhhiit this year so glad they are over!

Still unsure of an exact time frame of our next DE IVF, right now I am just enjoying the break.

I am starting to wean off of my meds tonight. You think I'd be excited, but I'm super scared! I have my first OB appt a week from today.

QOTW: I didn't do squat for NYE! I went to be around 9pm LOL! I hope this is a wonderful new year full of hope, promise, and success.

@Lacyj67 - You are so sweet to read my blog! I am cheering you on for your happy ending too! 

@KM672 - I tested positive for a single copy of c667 MTHFR after my first m/c. I didn't have my homocystine levels checked, but they did put me on Rx folgard. I have no idea if that's why I'm having success this time or not, but the extra folic acid can be the simple answer if thats the cause of loss. I'm holding out hope this can help you too! GL

Sorry that I have been MIA from check ins and the board in general.  My little boy, Logan Charles was born 12/20/13 at 1:35am.  He weighed 8lb8oz and was 20.5 inches long.  We battled jaundice for the first week, spent and extra day under billi lights and then were back and forth to the Pediatrician daily.  Then the Holidays hit, and we are now just coming up for air.  GL to everyone cycling, (((Hugs))) to those who need them.  Praying that everyone here will be able become a mom in 2014.
