Overnight on Friday (34w3d) I was sound asleep and awoke to the huge gush of
water - I ran to the bathroom, yelled for my husband and called my OB.
I was certain it was my water that broke - it was gushing out. That
was at about 1:45am - and we made it to the hospital by around a little
after 2am. I was admitted and checked really quickly - both heart
rates were good and they did an ultrasound as well - and it was baby A's water that broke and both were still headdown. At that point they just had me
wait until my OB showed up and see if contractions started on their own. When she showed up at 7:30 - nothing had really started - they started me on pitocin - I was 3 or 4cm at that point. I would say at around 10 or 10:30 they put in my epidural. It took until 4:30ish or so before I was fully dilated and ready to move to the OR to push (which is where they deliver twins). By the end the contractions were hard - but it did not compare to how hard it was to push out these babies. Elliott James was born at 5:48pm weighing 4lb10oz 18inches. And then Lillian Jean was born at 6:46pm weighing 4lb15oz 18inches. It was the hardest and best thing I have ever done - I am so glad I was able to have the vaginal delivery I wanted and it went relatively smoothly. Recovery for me is going well - I got home last night and feel pretty good but it was so hard to leave the hospital without them. Both babies will be in the NICU for a few weeks - they are doing well - Lillian is having more trouble than her brother and she isn't tolerating her feeds right now - but hopefully today that will change. I can't believe I am finally a Mom after all of this time. We are so happy. xoxo

Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14

FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014
I'm sorry you haven't been able to take them home yet. Perhaps you can get some prebaby rest at home before you welcome them!

CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
